My dog won't let me keep toilet paper rolls in my compost. He grabs everyone one of them and runs to chew them up. Your deck is looking so pretty with all the flowers added.

I really enjoy the mini-tours. I’ve gotten great ideas when I watch them. Recently it’s gotten into the upper 90’s, low 100 (Phx Az 9B). My poor roses were struggling, so I staked some wooden poles (Dollar Tree )and pinned (ditto) some tulle as a top cover for shade. They’re doing so much better now! It’s so exciting to see things thrive. When my friend comes over she always goes on about the chaos that is my garden! 😂 Life is more satisfying when we can get messy. Thanks for taking us along!

Your deck looks amazing, and my work areas are messy too 😊. That's just how it is when you're trying to get things planted. I did sort my pots yesterday and put some away. The flower that needed watered and the ones in the oblong container are dianthus. I cut the seed pods off mine so they will continue to bloom all summer. I got so excited twice today. I got to watch a hummingbird take a bath and another work on building her nest. My first Ruby throated hummingbird arrived on March 29th, and I now have 30 to 40 of them, and I am loving it. There are too many to actually count lol. Thank you for the deck tour. I need to get me some of the 10 gallon totes. ❤😊😊❤

Something ate my Sweet Annie plant. So now it’s in a cage with Tulle around it.

Pick the zucchini asap. I wouldn’t have given it another day. Tinier is better. And as you know, better for the plant to pick them when smaller, all dark green, not starting to “stretch” and turn lighter green. Dark green is best yummiest. Hope you agree. 👍😁

After seeing your Angels Perfume , I’m on the hunt to find it! I love the purple salvia, I should had picked it up at Home Depot on Sunday. I love that pinwheel looking flower. I also bought a tomato plant at .99 cent store, it is huge! With 3 tomatoes , I know nothing about them lol. I do give her organic tomato fertilizer.

Cilantro likes cooler weather - bolts fast in hot weather- keep in shadier, cooler areas of yr garden - they don’t last too long - do succession olanting - (plant seeds every 2 weeks to get an on going crop thru the summer )😊

Just a reminder that geraniums are EASY to start with seed, and you can get some wonderful mixed color varieties. I've put all my seed-grown adult geraniums into 5 gallon pots, 5 plants per pot, with the woody matter, kitchen scraps, etc at the bottom and they are blooming their heads off here in NorCal. Thanks for the incentive.

My husband got me a hummingbird feeder with the white flower in the middle I'm not sure did you say take those flowers out? Also will the hummingbirds find it b cuz I haven't seen any yet and right now I got the hummingbird nectar but what's the sugar to water ratio to mix put in feeder
@jwater637 ай бұрын
4 to 1 ratio. 1 cup of water and 1/4 cup sugar. If there are any in your area, they will find it. It may take some time, so be patient 😊

Try new tulle , if the tulle is very old, it will be easy to tear. You could also spray the tool with vinegar.
