You can grow vegs and strawberries in any basket. I like the Hanging ones to hang in different places and move nightly to avoid a "Deer Dinner." I move them to a safe deck table or behind some fencing. I prefer to water with rain water from my 2 rain barrels. The cedar shavings should keep birds out, they do not like the smell.
