Hey Jason. Your thoughts on this please: Berlin this year. Hoping for a 2:49 (2:54 PR last year) I’m just starting a 14 week block to a Half Marathon which I will aim for the same as I got (1:22 or a little better) last year 8 weeks prior to my marathon PR. This is my season before the season. Am just following the exact 14 week lead up to that from last year and will then get straight in to a 20 week block for Berlin which will dial up my volume, intensity and density a little from last years block. How would you approach the lead up to both of these?

Sounds like a good approach. I'm cautious about ever following the same exact training, though. Ask yourself what the next step is for your running and take that (more mileage, better long runs, more frequent or difficult workouts, more cross-training, etc.). Other than that, this sounds great!

I’m down here in Florida running on the beach to strengthen my entire body. Highly recommend the beach. The running is OK too😂
