I’ve actually already stopped playing this because every. Single. Game. Goes one of two ways. Either half the players immediately quit because they didn’t get to play the imposter, and the Imposters immediately win. Or someone, usually the host after setting the meeting times to max, spams the emergency meeting button. Honestly I wish they made it people who frequently quit can only join games with other players who frequently quit.

Now assuming this system is using a data structure list system for its players instead of an array or something; IDK just speculation on my end. 3. any number of things 4. Maybe another glitch people haven't shared yet?

Hey Spiff, 1,000 IQ strategy here: when playing the first map, disable the lights and go to the switches. Keep flipping the on switches to off, preventing the crew from successfully turning the lights back on. While they get more and more frustrated, exit the switches and kill one person. They're all there at once, too distracted and busy, and won't know which person killed the crew.

Who thought that having two clients, test/beta and standard, each with their own rules, and have them play on the same server was a smart idea? Hackers, breakers, exploiters, etc will never play by the rules, they must really want their game to be broken... You never ever allow different clients/program iterations interact with a different version, you're just asking for a nightmare scenario. Bugs being the most common result but as we see here, just pure nightmare fuel for your player base.

Please don’t forget that this game is made by 3 people and only 1 is a programmer. Yes, this is a serious issue, but if there is only 1 person responsible for the code and the review of the code, errors like this are prone to happen.

Online multiplayer was only stuck on later, and ever since release they've had at most a couple hundred players per day max, so like a dozen games. There's no point making a separate live and beta server. Either no-one uses the beta server, or you split the community up even further. It wasn't until July this year that the player count absolutely exploded to multiple hundreds of thousands a day.

Super selfish thing for Spiff to do just to make a couple bucks off some KZbin ads. There's no problem doing this stuff in single player games, but ruining an online experience for others makes you a bad person, and broadcasting how to do that to hundreds of thousands of people makes you a complete scumbag. I thought of a new game in among us. Everyone at the table announces if they're the imposter at the start. The imposter can not be voted off. Player speed at max and imposter speed at lowest. Imposter kill cd is 10 seconds and short (like a zombie). Everyone has to complete their tasks and avoid the imposter before the imposter kill them all.

Hide and seek is similar, though with vision instead of speed. You can't change speed individually as it would give away impostors right away in any scenario that didn't involve them telling everyone they are the imps

My roomie and I both enabled the beta mode after I showed this to him ... We realized that if you host as an admin you'll get game rule options that aren't even visible to normal players-- we choose to turn it off because we either play with people we know or host for ransoms to join
