I know this was four years ago but this is very helpful in crochet because my grandMother doesn't live very close to me and she's very good at crochet so I can't talk to her as much so You Tube was my go to ,to crochet because I just got a crochet kit for Christmas and I really wanted to try it . Yet again I know this video was made four years ago and I hope you see this comment because it's trying to tell you that you are an amazing teacher thank you!

Thanks so much for this video, it was so easy to follow! My stitches looked exactly the same - gone trying to juggle a mirror, pattern & hook following right handed instructions.

Thank you so much for doing these videos! I was following a booklet on this stitch and kept coming up 1 short....well was 2 short, but I missed a stitch going across...but that 1! The booklet didn't say to stitch in both stitches on the turning chain...@.@ or it wasn't worded well...so thank you so much! Was super frustrating til I saw this XD

Love the tutorial for lefties! Thanks for including us 🥰 I have a question: I’ve seen some patterns / tutorials for hdc that use one chain for turning and start the next row in the first stitch from the hook (aka the same used for the turning chain) could someone explain if that makes a difference or what the best / correct way to do it is? 😊 thanks!

I have thought this question as well when i’ve been watching different videos as a recent beginner… I am still unsure.. Did you come to a conclusion about this?😊

Do you have a tutorial on how to sew together half double crochet granny squares??? I’m very confused on how to sew it😭

I don't understand why on the second row, one needs enter the second stitch from the hook and not the first stitch? That means the turning chain is counted as the first stitch?

I am struggling to gt the right number of stitches. is there an easy way to do that?
@junissart97104 жыл бұрын
Hello! I'm having issues with skipping that one loop in the beggining of the row (3:55). It causes a huge hole at the end of every row I finish, especially after I make those two final stiches (7:20) which really strech it even further. Can anybody help? Thank you!
@GoodKnitKisses4 жыл бұрын
juniss art you can chain 1 less and just go into that first hole as an alternate.

Stitching i to the turning at the end of each row was hard for me. I feel like I’m going in the wrong stitch. There are larger holes near the ends 😭

Hello! I have problem, as I am crocheting, my work is waving so much, like it's not straight as yours, how can I fix that?

Hello! I’ve tried anything, counting stitches to measuring but for some reason it keeps on getting longer and longer even If the sides are straight. What could be going wrong?

Is the single or half double best for tight washclothes?
@GoodKnitKisses6 жыл бұрын
Quilterbee Tarpley the single will be tighter. I like the hdc for dishcloths for more scrub-ability but the Singleton for a hot potholder
