Thanks I never touched yarn and needle before, I was interested to crochet to make my favourite anime dolls, your videos for the beginners have been really helpful for me. The way you take viewers hand and explain every step is brilliant. Thank you so much… 💜🥰

This was a fast one! Single crochet and half double crochet took me soooo long just to do a square but I finished this double crochet in like an hour I think!

Thank you so much 😭❤.. I almost gave up learning this since I'm left-handed. You have the easiest tutorial that I can follow.

Oh my goodness! First thank you for this wonderful tutorial. I was watching as a refresher and realized I was double crocheting wrong on a big project🤣🤣🤣 luckily it’s just for me but I was hooking through only half of each stitch

Completed a king size double crochet blanket. I used the same color throughout the whole project and now I'm not happy with the outcome. Any advise on how to go go back in and recrochet to spruce it up? Thank you.

I have a video on surface crochet. You can add texture and color on top free form that way. Try it with some scrap contrasting yarn or even another tone in the same color family to add a pop of color for interest. This could be vertical or horizontal lines but also could be swirls, flowers or even letters. Think of it as doodling (embroidering) a design on top of your blanket.

what is the purpose of skipping stitches? That part has me confused.

My double crochet square curves and it's looking more like a crescent moon. Does anyone have an idea what might be the cause?

I have a question please. This video is titled Double Crochet. One of the first comments that you make is Double Crochet you add 3 to the number of chains. Then about half way through the video, you say Single Crochet add 1 Double Crochet add 2 Triple Crochet add 3. Can you clarify that for me? I'm am very much a beginner. Thank you!

I’m just chatting/commenting at that point about the other sts. There are two other lessons before this one that cover those other stitches. So I’m just making a comparison.

I’m a lefty beginner too and got confused by the conversation. I thought I had it down pat to turn and c1 for sc; turn and c 2 for dc; turn and c 3 for tc. Do I have it correct?

Hi. Why do we skip the first stitch? Is it necessary?

I’m still trying! What hook is that?
@GoodKnitKisses6 жыл бұрын
Quilterbee Tarpley you can do it!! 😍 The hook is the Furls Odyssey hook. They have several. If you knife hold this works well but can be heavy for some if they hold like a pencil. Furls has a newer lightweight all wood series now I’d love to try! Here is the link if you want to check them out. furlscrochet.com/collections/odyssey#oid=1062
