Unless you live under a rock, you have probably experienced some kind of betrayal trauma. It is the most prevalent kind of trauma known to man and practically universal. Someone at some time in your life has broken your trust, not cared for you the way you deserved, abused or taken advantage of you. It's part of being human.
But no matter what we've been through, we all have the ability to heal. We can all overcome our past, learn from it, and leave it in the past where it belongs. In today's podcast episode, I share 3 ways to do that so we can rediscover the perfect and peaceful present moment.
Please enjoy other episodes where I share meditation techniques, tips and spiritual lessons from around the world for peaceful and stress-free living. Remember to subscribe to stay up-to-date.

Oh this is a painful message. I lost my entire retirement to an investment with my father, trusting him. He still owes me and I've never gotten an apology. This is the worst, most painful thing in my life. I've never gotten over it. And the financial impacts, worrying about how I'll ever be able to retire safely. I've applied meditation and forgiveness, but I must do it over and over. I hate that this happened to me. I'm so sad I trusted my father. I'll keep trying. At the least I try to accept I may always carry this pain.

I’m so sorry for your loss and betrayal. I have also experienced something similar recently after the death of my partner. I was thinking of someone I used to work with and her strength gave me hope. I worked for her when I was young. She had a health shop at the time. She was a staunch catholic so wouldn’t divorce her husband even though they were having problems. Eventually he met someone half her age. She was in her 50’s. She left everything to them and bought a small narrow boat. She renovated the boat and sold it and did this a few times until eventually she could afford a gorgeous small cottage on the edge of the canal. She made it work for her despite the betrayal and her age. She also survived cancer 3 times and her only child had an only child with Down syndrome: so she had alot of seemingly bad luck. I wish you all the best for the future. I hope you find a peaceful way forward. Sending love ❤️

I was conned out of my house. I understand how you feel. However, if you let that money go you make space for more money because there are no voids. Bless the people who got your money, then it can return.

Yes, we go through, forgiveness is wonderful. Realize it was not us. It was them. This creates such peace

Thanks for sharing your story Todd- I’m going through something similar with my brother. He has manipulated my elderly parents and is helping himself to all the inheritance. I’m on small limited disability which is below poverty level. I had counted on my share of the inheritance to make life a bit more financially secure. Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a very real thing. Selfishness and self centeredness is at its root. I have been consumed by this betrayal for 2 years now and the bitterness is eating me up mentally and physically. It’s taken a toll on my health as well as had a negative impact on all my relationships. My friends and family have had to distance themselves from my bitterness for their own safety. Hatred and bitterness push people away. This video gave me my first glimpse of what it is like to let the bitterness go and heal my wounds of betrayal. Hearing your story helped me realize that I’m not the only one who has been betrayed by family.

Path to Love Love Beyond Love Love, knowing that the one you love may not be here tomorrow, knowing that today may be your last day to truly meet, knowing that you cannot know how the story ends. For what is left in this life if you have nothing to lose? Care, care deeply, care until it hurts, care in spite of what people say, in spite of ridicule and rejection and being misunderstood, care so much that you no longer care what happens to you. Sink, sink willingly, into this bitter-sweet mystery of love, never knowing what love is and loving anyway, like a fool, like a fascinated child, like a madman, like one who has forgotten how to be cynical, or how to be right. Love until your voice trembles, and your heart pounds, and your legs shake, and your philosophies crumble to dust, and your cleverness bows its head in shame and in reverence. And you will be taken to the darkest places, and your heart will be set on fire by the ones to whom you were never able to open your heart, and you will be reminded of what you have always, secretly, known: That in time, you will forget everything, except how to die, and how to love. Minou ❤

sorry, only God can forgive, not us! I hold NO anger as I turn it over to the karmic universe and remove myself from the energy field. NO, I don't let traumatizers, betrayers, etc. "off the hook". NO, I turn it over to karma and I continue on my own path and journey, but FORGIVENESS, no way!!

@vladynick ☮️ Forgiveness is “letting go.” It’s not “letting someone off the hook.” You say you give it up to God (Creation, Source, Cosmos, Akashic Record, etc.) That’s it. 🎯 Don’t get hung up on words. Words are just symbols anyway. They are not reality. Peace to you, my internet friend. 💕
