I was addicted to alcohol. Just know that God had already broken that chain. You are not bound to that addiction, so while your body still says you so, in reality you do not. I prayed for several years for God to take the desire from me and then suddenly he did. Pray hard and believe.

I am doing better now, but the sleep problem is still a battle every now and then at least the truth part has grown to be a lot stronger than it had been. This is very real. We all need grace and I too battle this. My biggest stuggle is how to move forward from the past and consequences..which are life altering in my situation (as of course all sin is) but it is very difficult when others are involved. Satan is constantly in my head telling me I have fallen too hard and I should give up. I know this is not the way.

It might sound crazy but at this point I feel like it's literally the devil giving me these thoughts! In my rational mind I know they don't make sense, I know God has forgiveness for me... But emotionally I cannot get over it. Whenever I want to plan my future, whenever I get happy or excited about something my thoughts bring up my past. I get discouraged immediately to the point of complete apathy and don't act on the things that excite me. I'm afraid if I ever wrote a book or started a channel people will all know I'm a fraud because of my past and.... And... And... I feel dirty and worthless all the time. Like everyone can see it wherever I go. I have almost no social life anymore because of that. I'd love to chat with you some time! Do you have a little more peace about it now? Just know that everything you feel , i feel sometimes very intensely.. its not easy at all.. sometimes i used to think if i got married and my past came up .. wat man would want me .. and recently... i had health issues that was mainly focused on fertility. I had an ovarian torsion.. which is a condition that occurs when an ovary twists around the ligaments that hold it in place. This twisting can cut off blood flow to the ovary and fallopian tube... when i had sugery.. they saw my tube waa dead becos of loss of blood, half of my ovary dead.. and i have 9 centimetre bloody cyst in my ovary.. now after my sugery they are considering for me to go bk in sugery and take it out.. i am 29 .. single... you think 1.. i have a pass.. 2... now i have these health problwms.. what man will stay with me... what man will accept all of this.. But you know what Hanna God knows... i pray for peace every day. i encourage you to do your book.. everytime you feeel shame speak to God... like a friend.. tell him.. build intimacy with God... your shame its your story that can help somebody.. up lift somebody... im not sayin expose yourself... nooo but in ur shame i believe theres gold ... you uplift people.. i believe you in Hanna... lets not let the devil win... i am always here ... we can always go bk and forth.. if i can help in anyway i will always... you are not alone sister... speak to God like a friend .. be raw.. honest.... and you will feel him.. sending you love sister

I have never gone to church, occasionally I would pray. But I could never forget, or forgive myself for what I did. And I thought God couldn't love me anymore because of it, that he wouldn't forgive me. But after watching this, it really made me open up into forgiving myself, and seeing that God will forgive me to. @Heather Burnside God bless you how you are right that god doesn’t wish guilt upon us. Our feeling of moving away from God is ironically what brings us closer to God. Feeling guilty it’s what makes us Christian even whilst god condemns us for our guilt. My non-Christian friends just don’t have this guilt but I’m afraid to separate from God to not reach heaven so I have no choice but to feel this guilt. I am sure that feeling guilt is really an important part of being a real Christian.

I have been watching you for about a year now and i LOVE what the Lord has led you to do in ministry. i have been saved for 18 years and love the Lord but i truly thank you for this specific video. I have been on mission trips, i currently am leading a men's Bible study and preaching for the first time this Sunday. However through all of these things THE GUILT of what i have done and my failures as a saved believer has haunted me and continually steals my joy from all the good God has done in my life. today i listened to your video and it lit a fire in me. I’m learning to find the roots of my fear. God has an awesome way of showing you just what you need when you need it. A few minuets ago I was feeling attacked and afraid. Today I couldn't stop crying. I thought God couldn't forgive me simply because I thought I've sinned so much and never would be able to be forgiven because I always knew there was a god but never had an interest or tried to have a relationship with him. I then saw people starting to say that if you knew you were sinning but didn't stop he would never forgive you. I then stopped everything and truly started believing in him. I totally stopped sinning since and just today as I was walking home from my school still thinking that God wouldn't forgive me when I found a letter on the ground. I didn't think about it and I started walking away from it.. but then I just felt like I had to look back and pick it up and read it. What it said inside was "The light of God's love shines through you and your every kindness." I started balling and when I got home I just started watching this channel and I had the reassurance that God loved me and he never gave up. I wasn't grown up in a Christian family but at my daycare when I was little there was a church in the morning. I hated it and didn't understand it. I never really went back to going to church and I never truly had a relationship with God. I hope God can forgive me and I can't wait to start getting to know my creator! (P.S I just turned 14 so that's why I was walking home from school.)

Dear believer, if God has forgiven you then it would be a sin to withhold forgiveness from yourself. It is a form of pride. Do you know better than God? If He calls something good would you dare to correct Him and say it is not good? Likewise He has declared you forgiven! Once I realised this for myself it set me free. I have broken free from my past but my husband is sure to remind me daily. Daily about who i was and what ive done in the past when i didnt have god. Its very discuraging while trying to build my faith. But god shows me constantly that i am forgiven but somehow my husband hasnt forgiven me for 10years ago transgressions and from 2 years ago when i decided to conversate with my ex because i wNted to feel loved and beautiful. Regretibly now he wont let this go. This will be another 20 years of being in the past
