Do you know why Satan uses tricks and lies and coverup and riches and worldly glories? To make sure that man doesn't accept the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on their behalf, and they will have to pay for their sins, like him, without knowing that they could be forgiven- as long as they choose to receive this grace, by faith I'm Jesus Christ.That's why he uses fear and fake threat tactics to keep them under subjection until they're destroyed. God's blessings makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. God gives power to get wealth and to enjoy it- it is the gift of God! Thank you! I love your message that guilt is to be embraced. We eat chocolate proudly at our church so it is perfectly normal for our kids to not be let’s say athletic. I would not be ashamed of fatness as it is part of being a good Christian to tolerate guilt, and those that are not guilty might not be forgiven and thus might not reach heaven. I myself often have guilty feelings of not enough faith in God but I use this guilt to ask for forgiveness so I can be saved. I don’t think we should try to overcome our guilt but recognise it as part of being a Christian, even if it is difficult to live with. Even if we feel worse with this guilt, it I better to have it and know that we are true Christians. It brings us down, but it brings us together. Together, and down. Only then we can be saved. Being fat, well I’m bot fat to myself but if you choose to identify 558 pounds as fat, then that is your choice, but being like this does make me feel guilt but from my faith I think guilt is not an unholy feeling even if it means pain. It is like turning your cheek when struck as we are taught and deeply a part of our faith of tolerance our sadness and sickliness - including being large. Faith also why I love America 🇺🇸 and we are unique here, we have a responsibility to change the world, and lucky to be an exception in the world - thus we can spread faith to others to help them to tolerate guilt of sin, guilt of leaning away, and guilt of eating chocolate. This brings Christians together and Jesus accepts you too, so if you feel guilty for chocolate, or guilt ou about anything, think about your faith firstly rather than trying to solve the problem. Under god we accept, we give in to our weakness, we don’t try to change our weaknesses.

@@NoreenHoltzen I’m not sure I understand your perspective here, but I will say that guilt is a result of a Christian’s present sin. While its presence shows that we are in Christ, it does not give us a license to embrace the sin itself. I don’t know if you are implying that it’s alright to each chocolate in a gluttonous way (once again I don’t know if this is implied, let me know if I’m not understanding), but if so, I would disagree and I would argue that the Word of God, above all, would disagree. Romans 6:12-18 speaks on this. We experience sorrow and the weight of our sin, yet we are given grace and have joy. Yet God’s Grace is not to be abused by our willfully returning to sin. Let me know if I’ve misunderstood you, and your thoughts overall. God Bless.

I have struggled so much with this. I accepted Christ at 22 but I was a mess with a pattern of terrible choices. I spent the first 10 years in and out of horrible sin. I hated myself and my sin but I kept falling. Finally after over ten years surrender came and I stopped trying to fix myself. But the consequences of those years still haunt me to this day. It’s been over 10 years since that time but the Shame and regret keep me facedown. Two years ago I buried my 25 year old son. I know in my heart my terrible choices when he was young contributed to my sons death. I pray others can learn from my mistakes and I beg God for His mercy!🙏🏻

Almost 30 years of beating myself up and being eaten up by guilt and wondering if i am truly saved. I could use prayer. I still think of a sin i forgot decafes ago and ask forgiveness, then another forgotten one pops up. Some sins i repent of and feel guilty over repeatedly. No total assurance of salvation. No joy. Maybe this is my answer to all of that. I feel so bad that i feel more than unworthy to be saved. I think why would He want ME of all people. Im horrible and i was totally detestable. Disgusting, horrid. But i hate sin so much and would never do what i did before. But i know it is not on my merits. Only John Mac could come up with a twist like that. Amazing. Freeing. I'd add that letting go of all that guilt comes down to actively pursuing holiness. Our perceptions and the sense of being free take off and soar when we do.

Well if Jesus forgives you stop arguing with him and humbly receive forgiveness I'm sure there are people who sinned a lot more then you and by an act of Devine mercy have received new life in Christ bless you in your journey moving forward and forgetting the past.

People often feel guilty about past sins because they're having a hard time forgiving themselves. 1st Jn 4:18 shows us the way: strive to grow in love and sacrifice and all guilt and fear will melt away.

Whenever I cringe in my past sins, I think of what God says, He has forgiven that sin and sees only Christ reflected in me. I am clean and refreshed because Jesus Christ already paid a heavy price to save me. Nothing I do can match that. I thank God that all my sin has a statute of limitations attached to it, beginning from the day I was saved by the blood of Christ. I still mourn my sins when the day is done and I review my past behavior since sunrise and sometimes cry in despair that I still sin, hurting my witness, the Holy Spirit, my Savior Jesus, and my Father in Heaven. We can only acknowledge our broken flesh and pick ourselves up, moving on to another day and another opportunity to please God.

The only reason someone is "feeling the weight of thier sins" is if they are still sinning. Galatians 5:16 [16]This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Learn what it means and how to walk in the Spirit and there will be no more sin in your walk and therefore no more guilt of that sin. Be blessed all 🙌

I struggle so much with regret, guilt and shame over past mistakes and sins. Right now, I feel particularly weighed down with regret over certain mistakes that I've made especially when I consider the consequences of those mistakes that I am still dealing with to this day. It doesn't help that there are many people around me constantly reminding me of my mistakes and rubbing them in my face.

Yes! I'm a born again Christian for seven years. But I'm so broken everyday. I know, the Bible says not to dwell in the past. However, the guilt always runs across my mind and ruin my peace. Thanks to pr. John for enlightening the ways to understand and dealt with sins.

No, Satan can not make us feel guilty for our past sins nor present sins. Our conscience makes us feel guilty when we remember them or when they come to our mind and we dwell in them in our thoughts, because we now know what God's word says about our sins, and we understand that God hates all sin. Before I knew Christ, I didn't feel guilty about my sins. But now I know how evil sin is and when I fall into sin i feel guilty. Christ had to die to save me from sin and the hell fire my sinful soul deserves. All praise to our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Please show me one Bible verse that says we have a right to tell Satan to go to hell. Actually if you read Jude 1:9-10, God will show you how to deal with Satan. While you are at it read James 4:7. Please talk to God the Creator, not Satan. If you think you can command Satan around you are deceived big time, and also shows you don't know Scripture very well, so I encourage you to study God's word to show yourself approved unto God a worker who does not need to be ashamed rightly dividing His word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15.

I agree with him. Nonbelievers don’t worry or feel burdened with their guilt and don’t feel sorrow over it. They’re so in love with the world and themselves that they don’t really see sin for what it is and aren’t worried or burdened by it. This is one work of the Holy Spirit that gets you to see how serious sin is so you can hate it and repent from it.
