How To: Handmade Leather Key Fobs - Studio Process video

We finally got around to editing this studio footage from when I made our Leather Key Fobs last season. The process was long and labour intensive, I hope this video gives you a better impression of what went into making these for you! You could, in theory, use this process to make simple keychains out of any relatively stiff fabric or vegan-friendly material - not just leather.
I chose to use this leather for this project because the piece of hide I used would have otherwise been thrown in the garbage.

The key rings that I have been using daily for the past few years since this video came out have been holding up strong and the leather has a great patina. Many more years of use to come!

What ink and stamp do you use for pouch stamp?

The stamp on these bags is a custom one we had made, but sometimes I make stamps with that "easy cut" lino rubber, either will work. The ink is Ranger brand Archival Ink, which holds up really well on fabrics. You can get it at Michael's.
