That is some slick fencing right there. Love those slip joints to connect the panels. And, that would be a panel hanger jig. Have a pocket with some shims in it, and you could make setting the next panel into place easier for a single person. Good system you had going there. The first one always takes the longest, while you figure out your system for installation. Those Bison have some pretty fancy fencing to rub up on now. And, as for Maya? L A Z Y dog!!! Yeah, I know, a ten minute nap and she's GTG at full speed for the next 4 hours. LOL

Love the fence. It will be great for keeping the Buffalo in and hopefully people out. Very sturdy which is very necessary. Marissa putting the fire out was like a dance move lol. She is very helpful which is a plus for sure. Miah is a good dog. She hangs around real good which is great. Hope you eventually paint the fence. It will last longer if you do. Just a thought. Dusty I use a couple hand garden sprayers. (2 gallon size). To put out small fire on a round baler. Bet that would work on your fence job..

When you’re welding like that and there’s a risk of fire why not get that tank from Daniel that he puts water in when he’s burning. It has a hand sprayer and it rides on the back of his gator/lawnmower so he can spray water to control the burn. That could be a big help putting out fire for you. That fencing looks nice if you ever have anybody asking what they can volunteer to do put them to work painting it. It’s nice that your bison will be able to be out front where people driving up the road can see them. Also that nice solid fence will give you peace of mind, that they will stay in the field where you put them without escaping! (Unless somebody leave the gate open!) Good work for you!

I will always look at fencing in a different light from now on. We have a farmer in our area who installed square concrete fence posts probably 60-65 years and they’re still doing their job. Good vibes from Lower Alabama aka as LA.

Marissa is a trooper. A true ranch wife. I wasn't a ranch wife but was a ranch kid. And you learned to do lots of things - restringing baler twine, unplugging the seeder, driving the truck or the trap wagon, driving the tractor pulling the baler or whatever other piece of equipment was required at the time, feeding cattle, breaking ice, milking cows, holding down whichever end of the calf you were given during branding, helping fix fence, and many other chores that were there for the doin'. Pretty soon you'll have Miss Brooke out there working too! A great family. My Dad came from a family of 8 and they mostly all lived in the same rural community so we always had cousins and uncles helping out and sometimes aunts as well. As the oldest & girl., I always had to stop and go in and help with the cooking and clearing up then was back outside again. Quite a different way of growing up than the town kids who were riding their bikes around and playing games till it got dark. But sure left you with a good work ethic.

My grandfather had a small Farm in Kentucky. Just a few cows a few horses and a few chickens. And they grew their own vegetables. It was non-stop work Sunday through Saturday

Ya know, y'all are AWESOME! What you're doing is for sure a huge project and I just want to commend y'all on a great job!! I just told my 22 year old daughter that she needs to find herself a rancher or a farmer.. because y'all are some of the hardest working people I've ever seen. It blows my mind just how hard you work and you don't let a challenge get you down. I love the fact y'all love these majestic animals that once were almost killed into extinction. Seeing those old photos of all those bison skulls makes me want to puke!! All the damage that some humans have caused to this planet is disgusting!! Thank God in heaven there are good people such as yourselves that respect the planet and the beautiful animals we share it with! Oh and Mya/Mia how ever you spell her name, is such a great lil girl😊 always staying close by and I didn't see her go into the road once. She's such a cute lil thing.. I hope one day Brooks is maybe riding a horse wrangling her daddy's herd! Enjoyed the video. I wished the Acetylene cylinder wasn't partially laying over. Good way to Blow One's self up. The cylinder needs to be vertical....especially during use. You do NOT want Acetone to come out of the cylinder. 500 parts Acetylene vapor to 1 part Acetone.

You’re right, work on a farm/ranch is NEVER done, and days off are hard to come by. Thing-a-ma-Bob, thing-a-ma-gig, doo-hockey, describes anything you don’t know the name of 😁! Your filming and editing is improving all the time; this was so well done Dusty. Maya is going to get home and say, “it’s so good to be home; it was exhausting keeping up with you, because I had to wake up and move every 60 ft.. Lying in the sun all day just wore me out!”. You guys had the best system going; it’s really amazing that you were able to finish this project as quickly as you did. See you next week, I’m always excited to see what’s going on with y’all.
