It was fun to watch you work with your mom hang that wallpaper. It reminded me of the days working with my mom-in-law hang wallpaper together. She is great at it and I can always count on her encouragement and expertise. You both are beautiful ladies!!

Beautiful wallpaper. I’ve taken down so much wallpaper in the past that I’m afraid to put any up. But your room looks great with it, I might just change my mind 😊

Well done! It looks lovely. 🤩 I appreciate your co-tutorial. (Who knew the paper might stretch?😲 And yes, it makes good sense to be meticulous about the sharpness of you cutting blades.😉) Fun to learn from both of you!😘

Being I’m your mother’s age, I’m cracking up…😂. We didn’t have “pre-stick” back in the 70-80’s…oh, your mom mentioned it at the end.☺️

Hi, it turned out great. Where did you order this wallpaper from? Would peel and stick be OK in a bathroom with humidity? Thank you!
@GraceInMySpace Жыл бұрын
It’s linked in the description! This is pasted paper and not peel and stick. I’ve used peel and stick in a bathroom before but the quality of the paper will be the determining factor.

I have wallpapered a lot. I have used contact paper a lot. I have never used peel and stick. I have never overlapped contact paper. I never had my contact paper pull apart at the seams. Can someone tell me why it must be overlapped? Is contact paper different than peel and stick? I think I missed it if she addressed it during her “peel and stick” video. (By the way….it was so nice to see a mother daughter interaction in this video….very sweet. It made me really miss my own Mama) Thank you!

Most peel and stick manufacturers recommend a very small overlap because it can shrink and then a gap would show. ☺️

Actually I'm finding out that the terms "pasted" and "non-pasted" are confusing. Wayfair lists their regular wallpaper that needs adhesive applied by the customer as "non-pasted." We thought our customer had ordered peel-n-stick because they listed it as "non-pasted." We were surprised when regular wallpaper was delivered. And though we didn't order peel-n-stick, I assume for peel-n-stic they list it as "pasted." They mean that if you buy "pasted" paper that the manufacturer has already pasted it, you just have to peel the paper off. This caused me great confusion and also great confusion for a customer of ours who thought "non-pasted" meant "peel-n-stick" when she ordered the paper.

OH Boy!! been there done that!! I only have done this kind of wall paper. I hate it. it does tear and it is heavy putting it up. Then tearing it off. Don't get me started. I did this for other people. And I called my Mom and said help. The bedroom we did took 2 days. Hung it on plaster walls. It soaks the paste like it hadn't had a drink in 100 years, Pasted both wall and paper. Girl don't ever attempt Run Run far. Ha!! Joyce
