How do you harmonize your body and spirit?

My ego is very strong. Experience has meant I don't trust that the Universe will provide what I need. It certainly hasn't so far. It's just been a mundane sameness combined with ongoing frustration. And I don't have a good imagination. God didn't give me that. How then, am I to overcome these factors ? And what's the point of mediitating - can I expect to get spoken English words that will tell me how to be inspired ? How to know what it is I am meant to do with my life ? Why what happened to me happened to me ? Why I never had positive options to choose from ? No ! It fucking won't. Because they "talk" to us in signs, symbols, "synchronicities" e.t.c. which is bloody useless to me. I don't know how to interpret that shit. I'm not a detective.
