Not sure how this stereotype of all introverts being recluses still circulates around the internet because I can't relate but...one tip that may be helpful to my fellow non-reclusive introverts is to have a code word with your friend/SO when you go out. I personally do not mind hanging out one on one for extended periods of time, it's being surrounded by a large crowd of (mostly) idiots that irritates me. What my (extremely) extroverted friend and I used to do when she wanted to go to a crowded space was to say the code word which meant it's time to leave the party. We would still go hang out just the two of us immediately after. So it was a win-win. Also a fun tip - believe it or not, most extroverts at some point will want to go be by themselves for some time...

Great video Chris. Hope you have a good day dude. Thanks for making this video; I'm particularly interested in it -- I'm an INTJ and particularly like ESFP's. I just feel that it is the best relationship pairing for me. So this video gives me some things to think about. Part of what I like about the dynamic is that when I need some time by myself to focus and get work done, an ESFP can entertain themselves. And I feel that in the dynamic, at the end of the day (literally), what I need is some entertainment and fun; and in my opinion, what they need is a chance to chill out and be a little more contemplative. Therefore I feel like the ESFP can do their extrovert thing all day, I can do my introvert thing, and at the end of the day we can meet in the middle and have some hang-out time that suits both of us well. My favorite relationship was with an ESFP. The relationship was really effortless and enjoyable. I really love this pairing. I'm a little bit abnormal from most INTJ's. In that in the evenings I really want to have an extroverted experience. I end up walking around busy places. I have a desire to really go out and have fun and party. It's really nice to have an extroverted or ESFP partner to be able to do those things with, reliably. It's hard when the end of the day comes and I've been working all day, but there is no one to hang out with. I really need social time at the end of the day in order to feel satisfied with life. And oftentimes I prefer a very social experience, not just a subdued one.

@moondust1798 If you're an introvert. Ive seen extroverts literally lose their mind trying to scrape at ever little dent in the wall to make small talk because they can't stand being in a silent static room for more than 5 minutes. I ignore them and they literally have a mental breakdown and start acting super weird and anxious

"You don't need to spend a hundred percent of your time together" - if you're annoyingly clingy and insecure around an INTJ, you won't be able to connect Effectively

I just arrived to this video from Chris' "The Four Stages Of Discovering Yourself" video, it might have some info/tips for you. If you are an INTJ then your Ni 1st function should be able to help you see what you want to do, and your Te 2nd function should able to help you to brake down that "Ni-what-you-want-to-do" thing into a step by step thing (could be a to-do pist type of a thing), but what maybe you are missing right now is having a very clear idea about what you actually like doing, and I think this might be hiding in Fi and even Se territory, but I think if you try to really think about what stuff you actually like (Fi) and also try various stuff to see/experience (Se?) if you really like it, that might help you to discover/decide your own life purpose. I'm not an INTJ but I'm an ISFP and I never in my life had a problem knowing what stuff I like and what stuff I don't like, and with my Ni 3rd function I'm able to kind of imagine in my head my future self doing things I like that also makes me feel like I have a purpose, but the difficulty for me is usually to figure out how the hck I'm gonna achieve that (with my Te 4th function), but I notice that if I keep at it relentlessly I tend to achieve my goals, although the road to my goals always have some ups-and-downs, mostly because of my Te 4th function, but by time with experience that improves significantly, not my Te 4th function, but my expertise that needs Te. So I think if you try to focus on your 3rd and 4th functions (in your INTJ case: Fi, Se) then you might find/create a life purpose answer for yourself after some time. I'm no pro at this or anything, I was just reading the comments and I thought I will try to help, so I hope this helps somehow :) I hope you have a nice day!

We live in an extroverted society. Often times we are expected to understand and conform to their way of being ... while having our own needs being seen as repulsive and a regressive trait that should be "worked on" and "healed".... Ironically enough, introverted people have a much higher propensity for intellectual and deeply reflective thought and hence not only do we know our flaws, but we also know their flaws, often times better than they do.
