For those who money is tight and has a small press use a block of rubber 3.1/2" X 3.1/2" X 3/4" or even a bit thicker,cover it with tefflon use the centre of the platen to do neck tags until you can get the moneys to up stage your press,hope you don't mined Rich.

This makes sense if you are pressing full front art and a tag at the same time but this is time consuming if you are doing 2000 shirts neck tag only. If you are doing heat press neck tags only, you can use the hat platen and get 2 uses out of 1 platen!

Think I'm gonna leave the tags on and let the customer tear them off if they want because the care instructions are different for each shirt. If you print %100 cotton and you print a 50/50 then your screwed? IDK, think I just wanna print back neck tag for branding purposes. Looks hella professional though with that neck tag. That's how I use to do it. Cutting a few seconds always helps, but hat press method is awesome as well!

It might be a slight overkill for something you can do on a hat press, but it's cost effective. Why waste more money and a hat press when you can easily switch out the platen for shirt label hits ??? WORK SMARTER, NOT HARDER

I’m having this problem that when I heat press neck labels I keep getting a square mark around where I pressed, and it doesn’t go away. I’ve tried adjusting the heat and pressure but still no luck :/

Try a cover sheet and make sure the temp is accurate by checking it with a temp gun or temp strip

I get this with a cheap hat press when doing neck and sleeve tags. I bought a cheap steamer off Amazon and it steams right out 😊 I’ve tried with sheets, without sheets, pressed hard and light and no difference! A quick steam and it comes right out and the colour returns.
