@kaimckinzie8714 it's hard for me to describe in comments alone because it depends on the size of the baby, but most sources will tell you that your goal with back blows to cause vibrations in the airway in hopes of dislodging or loosing the blockage. If you search "red cross infant choking" one of the first videos is a 2:45 minute video by the British Red Cross, at about the 1 minute mart, it demos a back blow with moderate strength. If you have an interest, I would encourage you to consider taking a first aid and cpr course where you can learn and practice this skill and more so you'll be more confident should the need arise

@@Hello_jk. I'm sorry you had to go through that but I'm glad it everything worked out. I'm not sure where you're from but organization like Heart and Stroke, St John Ambulance, Red Cross all offers great one to two day courses for first aid and cpr. There are more but those are the ones I have expirence with. I really think its worth the time and money especially when you have kids. The hands on experience you get from the instructors really gives you confidence should an emergency arrive. If you don't feel like spending any money, Sometimes you can find your local paramedic service have public education booths setup at local fairs and festival. They typically carry some training mannequins and if you ask them I'm sure they'll be happy to run you through a few basic choking and cpr scenarios. Its not a replacement for a first aid course but definitely a good starting point.
