Fantastic method and very easy and short tutorial to follow (I just saw one that said it was 29 minutes for the same hemming hack on jeans!). I just tried it on a pair of jeans I needed to hem, and it worked like magic. Thank you! Now I need to find your hack for taking in the waistband of jeans.

Great video- thank you. Would you be able to show what a pair of jeans looks like if you’ve had to take more than 2cm off the length. It would be really useful even just to see a photo of where you cut them and how much fabric you leave behind to overlock. Thank you :)

At the moment I haven't got any jeans long enough to do that, but I would just cut off enough to leave a seam allowance wide enough to overlock. I think Jen @gingerthreadgirl on Instagram has just done a reel showing this, worth a look
