To make everything clear, henna is for anyone who is inspired and would like to try it. It's nearly Eid so I'm getting all ready; it is a tradition to wear Henna on Eid but anyone can wear it anytime Muslim or not ;) I am a huge fan of henna although I have flopped many times. don't give up... Btw ladies love your henna pattern it looks so difficult but will try

It's not black henna, there is an orange undertone to it, but the colour is almost black. The one we used is 100% natural, here is the link goo.gl/emZ4VL :)

Black henna is bad But depending on the skin It doesnt harm me but it harms orthers

When you apply henna, or at least the one I use, there will be a brown/ black paste. That paste will crust after time and underneath will be an orange and even red if you leave it on long. The more you leave the crust on, the deeper and redder it gets. Hope this helped

i use henna every year for a special event called eid it is not harmful also when it is fully dried ur are supposed to scrap it of ur hand but dont use soap

So if your henna is black after you have taken your crust of it is black henna . black henna has something called PPD and is harmful to the skin however normal henna that leaves an orange stain after the crust is removed is original and natural henna which is 100% safe.

You can put some lemon juice or oil on the henna before it dries and it tends to last longer. It looks amazing!!

This is black henna it is not 100% natural and pure .people with sensitive skin (like myself )can have a bad reaction to it (like I did) Anyways it's a great video well done

if you leave the crust own for very long, it becomes darker. Also, massage oils into your hand for it to last longer. Beautiful artwork tho!! :))

You don't have to wait for 4-5 hrs you only need at the most 2 hrs and then the color will develop over a couple of hours becoming darker

This is beautifullll, I definitely have to practice because I always mess it up😭😂 I didn't realise that you can leave it up to 5 hours which is a lot better. I read through some of the comments and I'm glad to find out that this isn't black henna. I have very sensitive skin so I'm very careful about what skin products I use. When I heard about black henna from my Hindu friend, I was sure to stay away from it. I'm just glad to hear this isn't black henna because I thought it was when it was being applied 😂

After it drys, sqeeze lime on the pattern and rob it in gently it should be a bit darker and last a lilttle longer

I recently got my henna done by a professionalist and he said leave henna on for 2-8 hours before peeling the top layer off and it will leave a bright orange. Don't get it wet for about 48 hours and do not put lotion on it. If you want to use coco butter or coconut oil.
