@@TopTennisTrainingOfficial Thank you! Actually I would like to know what keeps one from performing at ~ 80% of one‘s skills? So often, some shots are off or everything feels off. And if it’s really bad, the opponent adds to that by just being very good and you don’t even get into rallies etc. - Guess I‘m not the only one out there feeling like that from time to time.

@@TopTennisTrainingOfficial I think you have covered pretty much all topics of tennis, especially for someone like me who has just started this sport. Thank you for making all these videos so that we can play this sport in the correct way. The video list is enough for me to learn the sport. In terms of more lessons, I would like to know more about the common injuries of playing tennis and how to prevent them. For example, is it normal to have some knee pain and a sore shoulder the second day? I would also like to hear about the stories about the top tennis training group. Are there any moments or/and anecdotes to share in your career as a player, coach and content creator? What was the most difficult time and how did you overcome or circumvent? In addition, how to choose the rackets and strings (although I think for beginners the rackets do not matter, the techniques do) may be helpful. When we take the demo rackets for play, what should we focus on? What racket do you use and why? All the best, love and respect from Canada :)

What about tennis rackets? Is there any talk about it on this superb youtube tennis chanel? (Congrats again, by the way) From what point does an expensive racket - with all its supposedly premium features and specifications - no longer offers benefits to a non-professional tennis player or a medium recreative tennis player? In other words, how good can a good racket make a player or how bad can a bad racket make a player instead? Can we consider that there are bad tenmis rackets at the recreational level nowadays? A lesson about rackets specifications and features would be nice to watch from you too. Thanks a lot.

I had to have rotator cuff surgery and had a detached bicep muscle. and a bone spur removed in my right shoulder this past January. The surgery was successful, I have been able to play 3 sets with no shoulder pain. But the effects on my 55 year year old body, due to being immobilized for almost 5 months have left me less flexible. The adjustments you mentioned with the feet were very helpful in getting more topspin kick on my serves. My main partner for tennis is 20 years my junior and moves like Djokovic, I need as many free points from my serve as I can get. Your videos helped with that. Cannot wait til Sunday morning's match this week. I went out and hit about 200 serves last night and I noticed more drop and jump as I worked on the swing path. Thanks again!

This is a great addition to the Kick Serve video collection. Your explanation of the shoulders changing position in a seesaw style helped me to improve. Still not getting as much spin as you but improving ... :-) One request: a statement for version 2 - the precise movement of elbow and forearm could maybe be added (can nicely be seen in Djokovic slow mo from the back) - it maybe comes out automatically if you have a natural talented swing but for non-serve-talents like me (applied too much force when starting to learn the serve) it is smth to be consciously controlled. ... ah, one question: what about pronation of forearm- seems to me as if the pronation is only executed half way for a good kick-serve, right? Nobody really mentions this, but I see it in your serve ... great comment about Federer's feet moving - wonder whether he does this consciously ... maybe comes automatically with so much talent?

Hi Simon, been a fan of your channel for a while...I have a quick question about the serving motion of you and Alex that I noticed after showing the brief demonstration at the end. I noticed that you arrive a bit earlier than Alex to the trophy holding position when you serve and Alex's motion waits a bit longer on the start to get a more fluid motion before the impact. Any reasons to choose which over which? My first thought is that unless you can master the longer swing, the shorter would be more consistent and safer... Thanks a lot! from S.Korea -John

A good server will be able to hit different serves with the different ball tosses/foot positioning. They might make it look like they will hit a slice serve then hit a flat serve, or look like a kick serve is coming then flatten out the strings and change the spin/direction.

Sure..still that can give me some kind of hint...I wonder if Roger knows he moves his feet while serving. I think Becker sticks his tongue out to the direction he serves to, no one picked that up but Agassi. He never told Becker that until they retired I guess...

I have a question, what are the differences between a slice/flat serve toss and kick serve toss? I know that for the kick is above the head and a little behind but I mean the mechanic of the body (i.e. The toss arm more in line with the baseline, release the ball higher, etc.)
