If we're talking about the basic EWGF, you just need 1 or 2 months to get about 60% (at least for me, but it's not that difficult!). The DEWGF (with dash, the aggressive and useful one) takes way more practice.

Keyboard is more akin to Hitbox. So if you get used to keyboard (if the game allows remapping get that jump button down) you can get used to hitbox quicker. Of course, there’s always an adjustment period

I was playing Capcom vs SNK 2 on my PC and I did the paint the fence and shosho the first day I bought the hitbox. Roll cancelling is easy too.

I found a way to do it very easily! Just input f,f,qcf+2 or also f,f,f,qcf+2 (Jin's finisher after a long TA juggle), it should work :)

when i was teenager and frequently to the arcade, those arcade sticks are just so easy and natural to me, i never had to practise how to do it, as long as i know what the moves should be like down front + attack and so on, all moves i want to do, can be executed 10 out of 10. now even when i know it is down front + attack, its so difficult then i miss it 3 out of 5 do to over move it till my characters jumped trying to 'hadoken'. i said go to hell with sticks. i'm ordering this hitbox now

Years and years? In one or two months you can do EWGF pretty consistently on a normal controller, it's just muscle memory. However, this "Hit box" looks like a cheap shortcut.

i can launch df2 ch in to pewgf on any controller or stick you just need to practice otgf consistently and timing after the df 2 is just frame you need too input the fastest otgf in form of electric its very hard but not impossible

***** concerning the notion that the product is cheap because it requires no practice i disagree with you. because it does require you to practice. especially if your transitioning from a stick or a pad. I cant say the same thing for some one transitioning from a keyboard(its proabably alot easier). the purpose the the hitbox is to simplify executions, similar in thought the arcade stick does the same thing with its button lay out which allows you to tap the light-to-fierce set of animations connected to the character faster. using a hitbox isn't cheating...you can still fumble executions and be hit while defending poorly. also when first starting to use the hitbox doing shoryuken motion regardless of what this tutorials says is a serious issue. in honesty the hitbox is better then the arcade stick and controller, but your still going to have to practice to establish good muscle memory and perfect executions. so whats the real benefit of the hitbox: no accidents!,less fatigue, and its fun to use. concerning the product quality the buttons are all sanwa and the casing is strong and light weight; the wire that connects it to the system is long and enforced. however even with all that aside the hitbox will inconstantly flicker off while in the middle of a match or just plain randomly. it is in incomplete product. maybe because it was made it china? maybe because there are patches that fuck the stick up? maybe because im using it on xbox one? what ever the case i feel like this is the future of fighting games but there's much work to be done to solidify the hitbox as a reliable tournament stick. if you have any question ill be glad to answer them concerning this product.

+8 frames - It means that the next attack you use requires 8 less frames - what is a frame you ask well a frame in any game that is 60 frames per second 1/60th of a sec - every move in tekken takes time - the time the move takes is measured in frames - ex punch takes 10 frames - so going back to the +8 example if you follow up something +8 with a 10f punch - the punch will come out in only 2f with perfect input

Is there any actual evidence that these are illegal at tournaments? Not word of mouth stuff, actual statements. Evo ruled them as fair and that's the one that matters. I don't own one of these and can see why Mishima players would be upset, but I'm not one and don't really care that this makes them more accessible to people that want to play them.

They are not illegal. Smashboxes are banned from Smash tourneys but the hit box is legal.

who cares? just because somebody can get the execution down doesn't mean he's gonna all of sudden win in a tournament, playing at home is completely different from playing in a tournament environment. Hitbox has its benefits and downfalls as well, it's all a different form of playing, not a big deal, i dont think' it's "cheap"

It's not much of a problem to land 3 in a row. TEKKEN was made to be played on Fighting Stick and not mainly a controller. This move and the others moves are easy to do when not using a Controller. But stil easy to do EWGF on a PS3 controller.
