I've applied these tips and man what a difference. A little awkward to get use to but I was easily finding the green on my second or 3rd shot. Now just time to practice those short chip shots and not dart it over the green

Liked this. Can you tell me when and how to fire my trail leg? My speed seems to be blocked by a slow hip turn when my trail leg lags the arms. I pull and draw left as a result.

Thank you for all the amazing content Todd...What I wanted to know was that the way your suggesting to pull down the club with the lead arm for better low point, can we have the same feeling with the driver with the added thought of hitting on the up..
@USGOLFTVshow3 жыл бұрын
Great question, it is an ok feel for early in the downswing but through impact you want to be working up on the ball ideally. Make sense?
@ishanbajoria23 жыл бұрын
@@USGOLFTVshow yes it makes alot of sense, im just having an issue of coming over the top and i feel starting with the left will allow for the lag better... thank you

Pulling with the lead hand opens the club face. Any suggestions on a swing thought to prevent this slice move. Thx. Tom

On the vertical line swing, the setup is around 10 degrees closed. Can I assume the the club face is still square to the target and not square to the closed alignment.

Always love your tips. For me to keep my left wrist flat always solves hitting slightly behind the ball. But releasing with a cupped right wrist seems to create a little more clubhead speed. That always is a bit of a dilemma for me. I am much more accurate if I keep a flat left wrist into the ball. Any opinion? Love your work.
@USGOLFTVshow3 жыл бұрын
Hmm, great question. The cupped wrist can create more clubhead speed in certain situations. However it is not the best way IMO. Better to get your speed through good body rotations and movement. We have a couple good videos on creating speed...check them out.

One of the biggest myths in golf. Hitting down on the ball. You may be in a downward arch but you are hitting center or slightly below with forward motion.
