How to hit the golf ball well

I needed this video as I have been making golf too hard. Months ago I was hitting great shots using the button to button method but for some reason quit using it. I guess I was trying to hit it further and was swinging hard with my arms. Ball was inconsistent, fat shots, you name it. I was frustrated to say the least. Watched the video and went to hit balls and they are straight again. You need to make a T-shirt to promote this. Only way to golf, button to button.

Jimmy, a big Thank You for your videos. Over the past two months my score has dropped precipitously! Your relaxed, simple approach has literally become a game changer. Dropping from 100-105 in March to mid 80’s both times last week. My swing is relaxed, simple and CONSISTENT. Everyone has been asking my secret. Not telling them. Just kidding. Great tip Jimmy. I tried this on the first tee the other day. I usually hit a driver off to the right in the driving range. So I used a 7 wood and hit one of the best tee shots that went high and right down the middle of the fairway. I measured it on my phone golf app and it went 249 yards!

Covid and tendonitis kept me away for a long time. When I started back it was terrible. My body was shot (I'm doing exercises for hips, knees, back......) and my golf was even worse. Lucky to score 22 Stableford pts for the round. But I have been watching your videos and swinging a club in the back yard and little by little I have improved until Monday I scored 22 for 9 holes. Today I was going to roast the group I play with and take the pot. I wish, it was terrible. Like you I was hitting all over the place. I should have watched this video before!!! ( But, 'butt to button' sounded like the jargon you try to get away from!). Hope I'm ready for Monday.

Hey Jimmy an update on my comment yesterday about how I preferred butt to the ground and target. Well today I thought I'll give Jimmy's butt to button a go. I shot 78 ! 2 over par on front 9 ! Got a bit tired on back 9 with 7 over! In rain soaked UK course . Thanks for all your help and guys if you not tried it give it a try! .

Another great video Jimmy! I wrote you before that I have a problem with fat shots and I noticed on this video you choked up on your 6 iron to hit your shot. You gave me this advice when I wrote you before. What does choking up do to stop fat shots?

You hit the ball better when the club isnt as long. Notice how you hit your pitching wedge better than your 3 iron. You can control it better cause its not as long! Thanks for watching

When the ground is kind of soggy, should you then play the ball not as far back as usual, in order to take a shallower divot and avoid losing a lot of distance, as there is way less compression off of soggy ground? Or, should you just allow for the little loss of distance in your club selection, or in the case of a pitch, the length of your backswing?
