Thanks Jeff!!! It’s awesome that former big leaguers are sharing their tips! Much love. Also, I sucked at the leg kick 😂

I made the same changes at the same point in my career. AA introduced leg kick, got me a cup of coffee in Seattle.

While the main focus here is finding your form, we should all agree that leg kick home runs are way more satisfying to look at.

I've watched a lot of videos since my grandson started playing Tball 4 years ago and I have to say your's are the best. Every ballplayer is different and you're the only "guru" :-) who seems to understand that fact. BTW, the first video I watched was your parody of Teacherman who I had just started watching the day before. I thought, "Yes, somebody else thinks this is nonsense". Nothing drives me as crazy as watching Major League Baseball when they have a shift on for a left handed batter leaving the left side of the infield wide open and the batters seem incapable of hitting to the opposite field!!!! They are Major League Players!!!! The other night my favorite Astros player Michael Brantley was up and the Angels had the shift on. Since the third baseman was playing where the shortstop usually stands, he laid a bunt down the third base line and trotted down to first for an easy single. I got all excited and started screaming "Yes". My wife thought I was crazy.

If your following the phenomenon happening in OU softball… leg kick is not very common at all in softball… But at OU softball they all leg kick now . For the last 2-3 years I’ve noticed how their the only ones doing it. And as of recent theyve literally came out n said their hitting coaches are mlb coaches teaching them mlb swings… And the results are a lot and I mean a lot of home runs from 1-9 hitters

How do you get the timing down on driving down through the ball? Just want to understand how to maximize line drives and minimize grounders. My kid does not have launch angle power but makes good contact. I think this could be a good approach for him.

My understanding is that the leg kick is more about timing rather than power. Can you show a velo difference?
