I always admired you. I took inspiration from your fighting style, your “idgaf” attitude. Came out to your fights to cheer you on. Pulled all nighters and fought the giant snowstorm in New York the night of your fight with Cejudo. Even after you were beat I still cheered you on. But that whole drug fiasco, made me not want to care about you at all. I hope youre doing well now and learning from your mistakes. I want to think the best in people...so I am slowly becoming your fan again, but I hope this time, TJ you will be honest :) Sincerely, Former superfan/reemerging fan

Keep these coming TJ. Not that this itself is new to me, Ive been training Muay thai awhile, but I love these kinds of videos. They have helped tremendously in my training(Ive been training over 3 years and ongoing in muay thai, and immediately prior to that, BJJ for 1 year, so Im kinda at an intermediate stage rather than a beginner, or advanced for that matter, and we spar every single class 2 days a week I love it). I like watching these types of videos and then incorporating what I learn into my own shadow boxing routine(I train 3-4 times a day, 20-30 minute sessions each) if it fits my style and can work for me. I vastly prefer blocking to evasion as its far more reliable, and you also dont get moved out of position like you do when you have to dodge and weave deeply to avoid a series of strikes making it very hard(for me anyway) to strike back until I have reset. Correctly blocking/parrying each strike though, blocking esp since it allows the biggest margin for error while still defending, is my favorite means of defense aside from footwork. Head movement is only useful vs punches and even then you better be sure they arent faking you out and throwing kicks - headkicks esp - when you roll to one side; you could easily weave INTO a headkick dramatically increasing its striking power, giving them a KO. I like blocking and fading away from more powerful strikes(while still taking the impact on my forearms/gloves, though mostly forearms) before returning with my own combo.

You are a GOAT 🙏 Can you do a video on how to fight like a southpaw. I'm a orthodox but I been wanting to learn on how to fight like a southpaw so I can be really unpredictable, but they arent videos on KZbin on how to like a fight southpaw. Even if they are little tips or pointers or things to keep in mind besides keeping your lead leg outside of your opponent, while you are in southpaw would be extremely helpful.
