I have a 36v 1000w scooter made by a Chinese company called Chihui that was fundamental in the design and sales of the scooters that we now know as Uberscoot and Evo powerboards, but this was like 2009 - 2010. All the original controllers just had one male-connected sport wire coming out, seemingly with nowhere to connect to, very similar to the controller on this video. If you splice it, then you would put your scooter from economy mode sluggish, which is slow to fast sport mode, or 100% of your 1000w for my early model, which is 3000rpm. Of course, you could add a small switch or now just buy an at-the-time new Next Generation throttle that had a red switch just below the battery level LEDs on the throttle. That would connect to the sport mode to toggle it on and off on older ones like mine it is common to splice them maybe put a small switch inside your battery compartment if you have kids who might ride it sometimes.

@@danielh4074 this was many years ago. I just rewatched the video and in it I mentioned that when I looped the sport it made it slower, not faster. It must’ve come stock already on sport mode already. Seemed to only have 2 speeds. My razor mx650 with a far driver controller has 3 modes like you’re saying.

Dan asked about a pocket mod. I don't see where your comment went but on a 24v pocket mod, you can go to 36v before you have to start changing out everything else.

I inherited a 36v gb moto Monster. I can find nothing for parts, manuals for this specific quad. Any idea where i can get this info? I want to change out the controller but can't find an identical one. Also don't know if the motor is brushed or brushless. SOL?

If there are only 2 wires coming from the motor than it’s brushed. If there’s five it’s brushless. As long as it’s matched up with brush or brushless and voltage matches, you should be able to get the different replacement parts to work.

Hi mate i got a mini e bike so is 350watt hub moter but lil bro dont use is a 36v controller and battery is 36v 6.6ah so iv seen ppl saying is as simpile as buying a better controler ie somerhing that could take higher out out watts and volts but no that would have 2 upgrade the battery 2 i dont weight much and looking for long distances and lil bit moore power 2 carry me up them steap hills im not 2 share wot i should do plz help me woth some advice if you can plz mate im london uk and wont 2 do a 1 of diy build im prepeard 2 pay wot ever it may cost me iv had dultron thunder for 4 years and tiyed of standing and decided a e bike but i like 2 be different the bike i have is a windgoo b3 iv got upgraded parts for it all reddy prepration for the built suspension seat pole raised woder handail bars fluid brakes grips wont 2 build a dual moter mini e bike would luke it 2 look standead but puform like a super bike lol 😂

eBay. It was a friend I built it for. Worked for as long as he had it. He eventually sold and got a really powerful one.
