oh my gosh. I can't wait to host dinner parties again. These were such great tips. Entertainment & Lighting were my favorites. I definitely need to get ready early. I usually end up having to forego my makeup...smh. Were your husband and girls out for the night? How do you plan for your kids when you're hosting girlfriends?

Thanks, Yasmine! Getting ready is key! Starting at least 2 hours early will save you so much stress. Try it out next time you host an event. My husband and kids were upstairs. They gave us our privacy. But since I was hosting my sisters, they did want to see the girls, so they made a brief appearance. 😊 Also, there are times when my husband will take the girls to my MIL’s house while I/we host something at the house.

@@taneliamajor I'll definitely try. I'm typically ready for couples or birthday nights; but if it's something that includes the entire family, my makeup is never done because I put so much time into getting the girls ready. They're older now & i'm better with boundaries. So we'll see, lol. Got it to your family being upstairs. My crew will usually go out for a little bit but are always back before we wrap up. They're never a bother, just curious.
