Do you clear coat or put on a sealer after to keep it from scratching off. I've seen factory camo scratch off like a bad scab drives me nutz.

No we do not as we typically have a wire ran through them. If the film goes in the barrel it might go in 1/2"-1" and it will not hurt anything. You can easy clean the dip off from the inside

I got a lamp tube that is dipped but has not seam!!! looks like they did it straight down, Chinese lamp

Yes you can do that as well but with some patterns you will get more stretching.
