I just came across this video. This is the way I understand Swing High and Swing Low. If you want to be profitable knowing swing high/ low tell you the direction of the price.

I really like this video, it’s very objective with a clear rule to identify swing high and lows, I’m going to use this in my trading. Perfectly explained, thank you - Neil (UK)

2:28, can you explain why we don't select the "-2 candle" as our peak candle?
@TradingDrills3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ramzan, The high of -2 candle is lower than the high of -1 and 0 candle. So only candle 0 that has the highest high can be considered as a peak candle.

Hi I have a question. Does -2 have to be lower than -1? Would it still count as a swing high if -2‘s high was higher than -1‘s but still lower than 0?
@TradingDrills3 жыл бұрын
Hi Brian, That is right and it counts as SH as we discussed that under "Non-standard Swing Highs & Swing Lows" in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoa0mKODl92YepY Also you may want to watch the "Complex Non-standard Swing Highs & Swing Lows" video here that is still counted as SH and SL: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoa0mKODl92YepY

Can you do videos on imbalance (Fair value gap, liquidity void, base/rally base rally, drop.base drop , plus give the base a name of supply and demand zones). Can u do videos on supply and demand zones? Plus various patterns then tie swing high and swing lows . Then explain break in market structure and shift in market structure. Thanks .

Hi Earn with ja.cryptoking Z, Thanks for your interest and suggestions! We simplified our Price Action lessons and only explain concepts that has practical application to be used to read the charts like professionals and enter High Probability Trading Areas (high %Win) at the right place (good average win/Loss ratio), which is our Setup T. In PAAT, we avoided using many jargons and theoretical definitions with back test market examples, which confuses students to take proper actions in real market and often get trapped. We teach only practical Price Action concepts that teaches students how to read the charts and think and act like professionals, which is covered under Module 1 to 7 and is simplified with 5 Entry Algorithm rules. Then focus mainly to develop trading skills by forcing our students to take > 700 practical smart drills from real market data in a forward test manner. So no more theoretical concepts are needed, for example our lessons on the Dynamic Support (DS) and Dynamic Resistance (DR) lines and their breakouts that shows shift in market structure teaches how these areas are formed by professional buyers and sellers to create the buying and selling pressures and are exactly the same as Demand and supply zone concepts. Moreover, we provide a dynamic view on the price action to students by DS and DR and not just looking at the price static zones, so our complementary lessons on the Momentum Analysis allow students to effectively trade the Rally base Rally and Drop base Drop as professionals do and catch big runners. This gives our setup an edge to have a high win rate and profit factor and our students never get trapped and go against any trends. If I want to look at real buying and selling pressure as a complementary confirmation for the Entry Signal, I look at the level 2 data to see
@jafxtradinginstitute63953 жыл бұрын
@@TradingDrills not theoretical stuffs . But advanced trading which is simpler. .but thanks .
@TradingDrills3 жыл бұрын
Hi @@jafxtradinginstitute6395 Thanks and I agree that the price action analysis using Supply & Demand technique is working and can be used in its advance form to create a profitable trading system. We are using the exact concepts in a dynamic way and name it DS and DR Areas and channels. Then we combine them with our simplified momentum analysis technique to identify a setup that has a high win rate. This setup with a few more filters (algorithms) fits psychology of many traders and allow them to trade what you may call it Rally base Rally and Drop base Drop (our trend-following Setup T). I wanted to mention at the end of my previous message that got truncated that we are avoiding using the volume related terminologies in our pure price action analysis/lessons. If I want to look at the real buying and selling pressure as a complementary confirmation for the price action Entry Signal, I look at the level 2 data to see actual buying and selling bid and ask volumes using Order flow analysis techniques, which will be offered under a sperate course in future.

How can we consider a swing in daily chart as our market also open gap up and downs .It many time opens at 1 to 2 percent gapup and gapdown)
@TradingDrills2 жыл бұрын
Hi Yatin, Your charting software is probably set to show the RTH (Regular Trading Hours), which is the primary trading session, such as the "day session" in the US. You need to change your instrument data section display in your software to show the Globex data, which is the full days data and includes all Asia, Europe, and US Sessions.

@@TradingDrills I am from india our market hours are only 9.15 am to 3.30 we can place after market orders after closing of the market only .After market orders will be traded in next trading hours i.e( the next day 9.30 am)so that's why our market open gap up and down So whether i consider gap up and down as a candle or i ignore them . btw best content .

@TradingDrills2 жыл бұрын
Hi Yatin, Thanks for your kind feedback about the quality of our training! I thought your question is about PA analysis and not trading. This issue of putting a trade after the close of the trading session is for all of us. If I put also a market order for Options or stocks after the US session close, my order will be filled with the gap the next day when the market opens. So I have to put a limit order if I want my order only to be filled at a specific price. Or I have to accept the gap price as for many position traders, the amount of gap is not so much when they hold the asset and look for big profits in long run. Because of this gap, many professional swing traders put their limit orders during the last 15-30 min of the close of the session and prefer to be filled at that price. You can see that the volume surge during this period as EOD traders' orders get filled.
@yatinchhabra12342 жыл бұрын
No sir my question is that that there is gap up and gap down so we can consider a invisible candle as price went up so from the peak(0) the invisble candle i.e( gapup and gapdown) can be mark as 1 of the 4 candles i.e (1 ,2 preciding and succiding the peak candles ) So in simple words can we can consider gapup and gapdown as candle for verifying swings)

What the différent between High of day and swing high?
@TradingDrills3 жыл бұрын
Hi BJ, High of the day means the highest price or the peak price that was reached on the daily timeframe chart. But the concept of SH or SL are related to the Price Turning Points in any timeframe. As you see in this video, one needs multiple candles to judge the formation of SH or SW, so it is not just one Peak candle or Trough candles.

@TradingDrills2 жыл бұрын
Hi Naldo, The drills will get gradually more complex and very difficult at higher workshops when you have to make decision quickly based on 5 Algorithms and Entry Signal. All Lessons and Drills were designed based on Deliberate practice concept, so each Drill focus only on developing one intended Skill. The concept of each drill is easy in theory, but with repetition you can become fluent and can do it automatically quickly without thinking.

THIS WILL NOT WORK IN ANY REAL MARKET IT WORKS ONLY ON HIGHEST TIME FRAME
@TradingDrills3 жыл бұрын
This lesson and all upcoming workshops are part of a profitable strategy based on advanced price action concepts that works in all markets (Forex, futures, options, indices, and digital currencies) and time frames, even as low as 15 seconds to trade e-minis (ES, YM, NQ, RTY). The only delay in any time frame is to wait to see if any new candle with the 4 previous ones, develops a new Swing High (SH) or Swing Low (SL), before you update your trading channel and make decision about the rest of 5 entry Algorithms. (See how first 2 algorithms works together here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oICkg3uQd9uJmqs ) This delay is much less than indicators that we used before to identify the market structure and trade only in the high probability trading areas. Thus, all our instructor traders and successful students have much high expectancy and Profit factors and more linear equity curves with low drawdowns.

We explained this case in the next lessons. When the peak candle is inside the two left and right candles, we consider a total of three candles as peaks and classify this situation under the title of non-standard SH/SL..
