They buy the car on your behalf but require a $1000 deposit to do so . Then you're required to pay the amount of the car + export fees

How do you have someone inspect the cars? Does the importer inspect them for you?

The dealer I bought from did a full walk around of the car pointing out all the flaws and I went to Japan myself and inspected the car after I purchased it

Or would you still recommend getting an independent exporter? I was thinking of getting a skyline GTT in the near future.
