I think I have low free testosterone. I’m taking 250mg cyp. As you say after the first month I felt unbelievable I felt ontop of the world. I was growing muscle very quickly and strength was increasing in every work out. Now I basically feel the same as when I wasn’t taking it no energy no drive, i just feel tired and aimless all the time

When your on exogenous test your red blood cells will be elevated. If your hematocrit is over 50 it will make your blood thick which will contribute to lethargic feeling getting out of breath as well could happen. Go donate blood to help alleviate this. Also if your taking a ai it could be making your estrogen crash to much. You need estrogen in low levels to build muscle and have a healthy sex dive.

Also you may be crushed your SHBG and you can't transport the test to your body.

100 mg cyp twice a week with HCG 500iu twice a week. I have zero libido. Doctor just put me on an AI. When I first got on TRT a couple years ago I felt great and libido was awesome. Now at 40 years old, libido is gone. Latest blood work was Testosterone at 934ng/dL and Estradiol at 52ng/dL.

I have high natural T but low free T (~400) due to high SHBG. My e2 is around the bottom of the reference range and my libido is normal, maybe a bit low due to stress or whatever. I realise I probably don't need TRT or HRT but I am curious about if I can experience again the insane libido I had as a teenager. Unfortunately, I have androgenic alopecia but I do treat it successfully with Dutasteride - which probably doesn't help with my sex drive (slight decrease in motivation, but no issues during the act). What options do I have at my disposal? I thought about Proviron as it's great at reducing SHBG, however it is a dht derivative and would likely accelerate hair loss further - but perhaps at low doses it will be bound up by SHBG before it becomes a problem - though there is no literature to support this. I'm am also not sure how much I would need to take to simply half my SHBG and let my natural T do the heavy lifting (10mg?) Maybe I just try running 100mg - 200mg of Test E alongside 500UI of HCG for 12 weeks, then PCT off with some Nolva and see how I feel (doing my bloodwork along the way to see if there is a relationship between how I feel and my bloodwork). Unfortunately where I am we don't have clinics that offer assistance with this (at least, my free T is too high for the Australian anti-aging clinics to see me) so I have to go to the underground labs and DIY anything I try - but your thoughts would be helpful

It may be a combination of those effects. As lower shbg means more circulating free testosterone which can aromatise and reduce to give additional e2 and dht as well.

Unless SHBG is very high there is no need to lower it since it is needed to transport testosterone/estrogen and prevent fast absorption. Surely upping the dose would be better than taking proviron?

I am taking 200 mg test a week and 10 mg pregnenolone, 25 mg dhea, 25 mg proviron a day. Clean diet, heavy lifting and cardio but still very very average libido. I would like to have a much higher sex drive because that was the main reason to start TRT. Just started two months ago and no bloodwork done since starting. I’ ll have my bloodwork done next week. I am curious as of what can be improved to resolve this issue.

Gynecomastia is typically caused by High Prolactin or High Estrogen. Either can have an effect on libido.

im on trt with Tostran 2% gel (i know its not the best solution but thats what im currently trying with my doctor) i up the dosage to 4 presses everyday that means 40mg Testo daily .... my bloodwork shows drop at LH to 0.9 (normal range 1.2-8.6 My FT4 / TSH / FSH are normal PRL = 51.9 ng/ml with ranges of 2.6-13.1 i felt some fails on ejaculation sometimes but the last days/week im signifaclly better My testo is 8.2ng/ml with normal ranges 1.8-7.8 SHBG also is 61.4 with normal ranges of 13.3-89.5 is that low LH normal ? should i worry for something ?

It's normal to have low or supressed LH and FSH when you are using exogenous testsoterone. The exception may be nasal testosterone as it has a short half life and desgined for frequent applications to the nose and to maintain the hpta axis. Topical including creams and gels, and especially injectable testosterone will in most cases supress the natural release of LH.

250 mg every 3 week sucks you should inject once a week atleast to have stable test level and feel better, plus 250 every 3 weeks is less than 100 mg a week that is to small of a dosage you would have low blood level on bloodwork, your dr is a bad one change dr or self medicate much better than that trash protocol

Hope this helps you, if you haven't tried this already, I'm also on trt 5 years , according to my Doctor your amount is not trt but steroid use, try 30 mg every second day subcutaneously, Cilas 2.5 every day vitamin ( 8:07 k2 unless your already on a blood thinner as asprin ) in witch case you don't need k2 , this therapeutic amount will keep all your blood work right ,and I guarantee it works I'm 63 and believe me it works, Now you can buy the generic cialis 10 mg cut the tablet into 4 or even three the generic brand is much more cost effective, Good luck

Your E2 is very low, I would stop taking the AI, your libido will probably return. Not sure what units you are quoting for Prolactin but 8 sounds very low!

Couple things - depends on how long you have been on. Also, I would suggest splitting your doses. Pin as many times as you can each week. It may help keep your levels even. But in that case you will also want to watch your shbg fluctuation.
