yo man. months ago i was recpovering from a pretty serious drug addiction. i stumbled across "the heaviest video you will ever see" and it inspired me. now i put all that anger into lifting and using my mind as a tool, pushing harder than i had and its been a huge tool in staying clean. much respect my friend.
@parkergriffith25077 жыл бұрын
Brian Bevilacqua what drugs? I was on bars for a bit, now I found lifting and don’t even think about it
@brianbevilacqua31147 жыл бұрын
yeah it was benzos. klonopin, xanax. i was prescribed them years ago and they worked, but i had to change doctors and he took me off them. so i started getting them on my own, and it ended up spiraling out of control. i had a seizure in the hospital due to withdrawl, which is a hell i wish on no one...wish i never got put on em. but life is way better with a clear mind and lifting has been the number one tool in staying off that shit
@parkergriffith25077 жыл бұрын
Brian Bevilacqua yea man kratom helps me out like crazy it’s insane even better than weed which for the most part makes me all sluggish and lazy despite what other people say
@brianbevilacqua31147 жыл бұрын
yeah i used kratom alot its definitley a great thing. its helped so many people and its just a plant..and mild. i personally take phenibut and thats it. eventually i plan on just relying on nutrition and vitmins but i was on benzos for so long, that for months ive had bad anxiety and last withdrawls...the phenibut takes care of that but its not something you can take everyday.
@thatoneguy84937 жыл бұрын
Couldn’t agree with you guys more. Was doing pills smoking weed everyday for eight years. Eventually meth, been sober for almost 14 months lifting my ass off week after week. Feel a million times better than any drug could have done. Stay strong brothers proud of all of you!!! 💪💪💪

ever since I stopped drawing and playing piano Ive been feeling anxiety. I think drawing is what I miss the most and it was definitely the most relaxing of all things even more than the piano (cause it takes a lot of time and practice to play something cool, just like you said). So basically you made me think I should definitely get back into drawing with this video. I think it's going to work very well. Thanks.

Drawing and other creative outlets can be meditative. Straight up meditation clears your mind, as well. I've been meditating daily using the Headspace app for 24 days now, and my perspective on life has changed drastically. I no longer feed into my negative thoughts. Instead, I take a step back from them, removing my emotional attachment to them, and am able to use them purely for fuel and not for self-deprecation. I'd recommend everyone give meditation a try for at least two weeks; most likely, you'll see what I'm talking about. Anxiety doesn't control me anymore; it empowers me.

To build off this idea, I think the basis is that we all need to have creative outlets to get out our negative emotions. Sure lifting is an outlet in itself, but we need different ways to keep different parts of our brains healthy. Our brains are like our bodies, they need to be healthy for us to become our best selves. That being said I think you should get yourself some art supplies that inspire you to draw. It would be cool to see you explore some different creative outlets.
