Some of us try to receive so hard. We get vulnerable and we reallly open up with our guy and even let him SEE & experience when we lack something or need help. We will even outright ask but SOME guys just DO NOT SHARE. They don't share their money, their time, their feelings, their communication, their effort, NOTHING. Some guys refuse to INVEST in a woman because he is not there for her. He is there for HIM. Let's be real clear about this. You need to post a disclaimer that you are referring to REAL men or Loving Men, because this advice will have some people in toxic relationships with stingy men to think they are doing something wrong when it's all about how selfish he is. Some men are simply NOT generous. There is NOTHING you can do to increase his generosity. He has to work on himself.

I am oldest of 8. I was married for 12 years to a taker. Divorced. Now 2 years later I am engaged to a caring giving man. Who had to open my eyes to what you speak about here. Yes to not receive is to reject. Its hard for me...but he taught me and invites me to continue exploring my feminine side and it is liberating. I want to cry thinking how exhausted I was. God has blessed me. He also taught me something I didn't know that I was taught wrong about before. That is "being feminine is NOT being a feminist." I love it! Because I believe the Bible and that my husband is the head of the home. I am so embracing the new me.

Thank you for providing information for us women that doesn't have to do with tricking men and taking advantage of them. You are teaching women to embrace our femininity and be able to authentically be able to receive from a man. Men feel so good when they give to their beloved. Thank you again. God bless you.
@hnbn20136 жыл бұрын
Im reposting this again. It's not always just about receiving love from a man. Some women just don't receive at all because they never learned to receive love in the first place. I'm a straight woman and I have been yelled at just for complimenting a woman. I held the door for a woman behind me and she stopped walking as if I was offending her by being nice. Some women will roll their eyes at you if you give them a friendly smile. Forget trying to befriend them, they already have their mind made up about you. Right off the bat, I know I'm dealing with a person who doesn't know how to love or how to receive it. Most women are used to being catty so if you're not, they automatically think you're gay or into them. They only value acts of kindness from a guy--- strike that-- from an attractive guy. ALOT of women do not know how to receive love because they only identify love as romantic love and grew up in homes where love was only identified as romantic/familial. Then they wonder why they can't keep a relationship because when the romance cools down, they don't know what to do with themselves or how to be a decent person. They think the guy is over them & out to get them because he didn't call her pretty today, so they start retaliating for no reason. They don't have a clue what real love is.

@antoinitaviolette41406 жыл бұрын
Lydia Marendes nothing is wrong with having alone time, and that when important interaction needs to happen, be ready and prepared, and, as far as words are, and communication is, words don’t always have to be spoken but be read by the eyes or by our God-given spirit. It takes a lot of preparation because marriage is ministry. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJuuc4CQp8-poMk

Every situation is different. I’ve been married for 20 years. My husband says the fact I did things for myself help him realize he wanted to be the one to do things for me. He recognized that I wasn’t in distressed and quite OK alone. He saw in me a hard working partner, not a project. I wanted to be the type of woman my husband could not live without. Look it up in your Bible. My husband is known at the gates because of my hard work. What’s great about this is you will have a better idea what kind of man should be in your life because you will know what it takes and when he finds you, he will know you’ve been spending your time getting ready for your mate and your family. You will find, when he finds you, he will ask if he might be able to share your sunlight. And you will feel like it’s very important to avoid spending time with someone else’s husband, even if no one else has married him yet. After all, you wouldn’t want someone to delay your husband.
@hnbn20136 жыл бұрын
Jeanne, thats a trap. my ex told me his ex wife took all his money and never gave him anything. so he treated ME like that so I wouldnt hurt him. BUT the truth is that SHE took all his money and never gave him anything BECAUSE he is a stingy SOB who never gave HER anything! She treated him how he treated her and got one over on him. I could never do that so thats why I got the short end. Some guys do tread lightly after being hurt that bad but if uve been with him any significant amount of time, he already KNOWS you arent like her. He's doing what he does best -- being STINGY. He can do it AND get away with it now because you dont retaliate like his ex did when he did it to her. Good news is he'll never leave you. Unless he finds someone else that lets him get away with even more. Plus dont be so quick to label the ex when all you have is his side of the story. If he wnated to be more to you, he WOULD be. A man who does not want to lose a woman will not tell her no so easy. He thinks he has no competition and you are head over heels for him so he will keep up the bad behavior you tolerate. I bet if you came home with flowers and said "THANK YOU for the surprise I wasn't expecting it!" He would be wondering if some man had a crush on you and he would poke out his chest and man up then. Worked for me before I dumped the loser.
