I am 35 years old, and whenever I got around this man that I really like I acted like a straight kindergartener! I mean I was playing waaaay too much, out of pure nervous energy. These are good tips for the next time I’m around a man I am interested in, being social is most definitely not my strong point!
@pattycake98566 жыл бұрын
Sweetheart that is definite indication that you really have a thing for him. My sister who was super cool, laid back and was extremely attractive, liked a guy that worked in her building, she said he gave her chills when she saw him. One day he happened to get on the elevator with her and it was just the two of them. She told me she was so nervous that when they got to her floor she literally tripped over her own feet and stepped out of her shoes. She was so embarrassed that she bended down to retrieve her shoes and uncomfortably stepped off the elevator.

I have a tendency to tense up and shy away from guys I like or have brevity with them if they are interacting with me :(. Now I'm understanding it has come across as confused, difficult and insecure.
@db44196 жыл бұрын
sweetchari it does! (I'm a man by the way....)
@db44196 жыл бұрын
The brevity especially gives the impression of being aloof and disinterested, quite the turnoff esp for a man who actually wants to get to know a woman more. Not throwing this at you of course just sharing.
@7yotta6 жыл бұрын
I’m a heterosexual guy and the only thing you have to do is find a common interest to talk about and forget about the attraction cause that’s gonna take care of itself. If the man is like me and enjoys the conversation he’s having with you he will both not want to share you with the rest of the people there and make it his business to get your contact info. Just talk to him as you would a long time friend without divulging to much personal info and determine if he is suitable to your personality. You’ll be great.

I like what you said about the eye contact, but I'm afraid he'll walk up to me and ask me if I have a problem. Or even worse, immediately tell me that he's seeing someone. I guess I have this overwhelming fear of rejection that I need to get past before I can apply any of these suggestions.

Natural Woman 73 she’s more so explaining how to stay confident and staying femininely allure around a guy you like, not how to get a guy to like you..some ppl are shy around guys they like, when the man hasn’t made a move or shown much interest
@alishadennis21896 жыл бұрын
she explaining how to get the mindset of a calm confidenr lady around a man you like instead of nervous & overwhelmed. To be of a confident in control mode, process actions. To be silly nervous disasterous is not inviting to others. A medical professional i knew liked me & he would get so nervous he would act strange & say to go in front of orher patients too. I acted like i didn't notice. All the staff & patients noticed his nervous ,excited reaction to my being there. I wished i could calm down more, his over excited emotions would get the best of him each time i came there. It was a bir too much, even though at the time it was funny & flattering. a plan for the next time & practice would have helped him calmly visit with me not freak out. I didnt mention it till i knew him more later on . Be your planned out, good things to do & say & connect confidently & looking, smelling great & eye contact, positive ,body language. Not change who you are. Just not act a fool cause your nervous , walk out your plan on the visit for a good experience, thats all.

I felt that way t first. Then I realized that my own mannerism needed some tweaking. Its a form of growth. I HAD the tendency to sit with my legs semi-open and palms up on my legs. My daughter brought it to my attention. It could be other things that could we all make some changes. I don't think I'm being fake making the adjustment. that's all. I'm just adding some thought :-)
