What if my baby is 3 months and she eats every 3 to 4 hours but I'm not producing that much milk anymore😭 I get about 2oz every 4 hours . If I don't pump in the middle of the night after 12am till 7 am ill get mybe 3 to 4 Oz max. Idk what to do I tried pumping every 2 hours but I hardly get anything when I do that .

Coconut water. Not just regular water, coconut water is AMAZING!!!! It truly hydrates you and hydration=more breast milk. Pump after EVERY feed, breast massage during breastfeeding and pumping,and hand expression to get more milk out of the breast.

Great tips. I have four kids and what's crazy is after my last baby my milk supply was in full effect the day after his birth. Like there was none of that little yellowish stuff...it was full blown breast full milk. I was able to feed him and pump a good bottle full. It was very helpful. And you're right, our bodies are different and our bodies do differently for each child as well.

Just a clarification on power pumping and maintaining supply. You DO NOT and SHOULD NOT turn your pump to "high". You want the suction to be comfortable if it's painful it's wrong and you risk injury which defeats the purpose. You do not need to pump to maintain your supply. The goal should be to remove milk from the breast which can also be done by direct latch.

As a mom who’s had twins and currently has a newborn in the NICU after awhile of exclusive pumping it’s normal for supply to go down slightly, your breasts know that it isn’t a baby and will get to used to it but power pumping 100% works

New mama here so learning the breastfeeding game. It is definitely difficult from what everyone's been telling me. I'm exclusively breastfeeding pumping too to hopefully build a stash or for those late night feeds where I'm too exhausted to feed the baby & my husband can do it. Having a hard time pumping enough to even store I've been using the mother's milk tea & oat milk. Not consistently though, which is probably a factor but I do want to try the gatorade cause I've heard that really helps. Thank you for your tips, i just came across your channel today & definitely found it helpful. My boy is 1 month old today & i feel like my milk could use a little help. Thanks again!

You’re not alone! My daughter is 10 months and my supply is dramatically going down. I’m heartbroken. She got sick for a week and this really stressed me out and then she went on a nursing strike. I have such a hard time getting the “normal” amount of calories in per day and this has effected my supply as well. Hi had one or two days that I thought that my supply dropped and baby was crying and sucking my boob and no milk was coming. She never accepted formula or bottle so I didn't have another option other than make breast milk! I tried the mother's milk tea and that made my breast engorged like crazy of so much milk overnight. And of course.. like u said.. I drink more water now. Anyway.. I understood also that milk supply always drop on the evenings and is more on the morning so I stopped freaking out because stress also drops the milk supply. Thanks for sharing your story and for the tips. :)

Hi. So I’m just curious if your baby is getting enough on the breast what do u do with all the milk you’re pumping and storing?
@mrsfrazier4268
@mrsfrazier4268 3 жыл бұрын
You pumping to get all this extra milk can enable u to store some milk in the freezer for future use so yes babies can definently get enough boobie time as well. U can always pump on one side and Nurse on the other.

Yes you can..just try. Stay hydrated, drink lactation teas, eat lactation recipes, oatmeal is good, pump more to help stimulate milk. You have to eat!

@@junesammy-robidoux2305 yes eating good helps because as you produce the milk for your baby...eating properly allows u to have energy for both you and baby! Eating processed foods all the time wont give u enough energy to make milk and walk around and be ok. Lots of luck so far I'm 2 months in. My first two I did formula and breast milk but this one is strictly all boobie milk. Girl its hard!

@@mrsfrazier4268 it's my first, I'm eleven months in, I rarely eat processed foods. I try to eat balanced healthy meals but it's not huge amounts, I've always had frequent smaller meals. But I am guilty of sometimes skipping a meal if I'm busy doing something. That is where I know I have to improve. I have to put myself before the house chores. I also need to increase my water intake and stop stressing. My boy was on formula for a short while twice during his nine months. I have no issues whatsoever with formula it's what I had to do during those times to make sure my baby was healthy. But I do feel like I could have done better. Mom guilt, it's real.
@mrsfrazier4268
@mrsfrazier4268 3 жыл бұрын
@@junesammy-robidoux2305 never guilt yourself...you gave your baby the best he could have at that time and it's nothing wrong with that...just thank goodness it is an option. We as moms have to realize and understand breastfeeding is hard and whatever the mother go thru at least the option of formula with vitamins is there if ever needed and that's ok too. During those times you skip meals try to eat at least a handful of nuts or some dried fruit or something to make it count. Maybe get some ziploc bags from and fill it with nuts, dried fruit, granola or granola bars (hello dollartree!) I have a hard time with water as well. I find drinking it in a fancy bottle lol (a cheap one with a straw is fine) as opposed to a regular cup helps and room temp water digest faster in the body. Yes stressing is no good but its life sh*%t happens...the best way is to fine an healthy output for that stress to channel it in. Do your house chores as you can and if u cant do it at that moment...thats ok too...pick it up when u can. Please find time for yourself. When I can and my girls are busy playing and my husband is taking care of food and the baby sleep...i will do my eyelashes and my nails and feet and window shop lol online....we need time to pamper ourselfves no matter how small that maybe but little things like that will help alleviate some stress when u remember it's ok to be selfish and save some time for u! That's fascinating tho to be at 11 months...kudos to u mommy!!
