I follow Dr Berg's advice to do keto: I didn't even do full keto. I reduce carb, eat more fiber, moderate protein and fat. I eat some desserts now and then, drink a bit soda here and there but I still lose 20+ lbs and I never feel more energetic in my life. Thank you so much, Dr. Berg!

If you do low carb and moderate proteine and fat than you don't do keto, you do low carb. That is not the same. Dr Berg explains this in some of his videos
@goldierule13503 жыл бұрын
From what I understand, If you want your body in ketosis (the fat burning mode), you have to consume as close to no carbs/sugars as possible. If you have zero carbs or a VERY low amount of carbs, your body goes into ketosis. You can buy test strips to test your own urine to see if you are doing it right. However, if you eat something with carbs/sugars in it, you are kicked out of ketosis & everything that you have eaten that day (idk exactly how long before) will not be burned off like it would have in ketosis. I'm pretty sure that's how it works. I did that treats ago & lost about 40 lbs in about 11 weeks. I felt so good & had energy. I maintained for a while & then I screwed up. In trying to get back into that. 👍✌btw, I noticed when I lost the weight, I lost a lot from my mid section!! 😊

Glutathione SAVED my life!! I work with children and was constantly catching their colds. 4 years ago I started taking my Glutathione and to this day I have not caught a single cold, flu or any sickness.
@TheJohnhurt4 жыл бұрын
Glutathione is NOT a vitamin, it's a tripeptide-i.e., a tiny protein-composed of three amino acids: cysteine, glycine, and glutamic acid (or glutamate). Often called the “master” antioxidant, glutathione boosts the utilization and recycling of other antioxidants, namely vitamins C and E, and alpha-lipoic acid and CoQ10.

Through a DNA test for something unrelated, I found out that I have two C677T mutated MTHFR (Methylene Tetrahydrofolate Reductase) genes, one from each parent. These genes are the methylation pathways where B12 is converted to Glutathione. Because of the two mutations, each of which causes a 35% reduction of this conversion, I can only manufacture 30% of the Glutathione my body needs. As a result, my B12 levels are always high. Now I take a Glutathione supplement in order to bypass this problem.
@MNMMOMMA24 жыл бұрын
Same here, double positive copy of the C677T mutation. Have you confirmed by lab results any positive results since taking the new supplement? Which brand are you taking? I hope you're having positive results and your immune system is becoming stronger day by day. Blessings, peace and good health to all

Taking NAC or the less absorbable pure glutathione supplement? If second, look up NAC, more harmless and cheaper to supplement, and as precursor to glutathione NAC is better to take than the pure thing when it comes to absorption & bioavailibility and also toxicity (heard several people saying excesss glutathione supplementation being possibly toxic, but got nothing backing it up, absorption wise NAC is still a better supplement )
@jackson324 жыл бұрын
A huge thing that very few know about is grounding. When you ground yourself, any imbalance in the amount of electrons in your body is neutralized. It is like taking an antioxidant supplement, except thousands of times better. And there is a lot of science to back it up as well as countless accounts of it help bigtime with all sorts of health problems, because free radicals cause inflammation, which causes health problems.
@aurasensor3 жыл бұрын
Please explain what grounding is in your comment.
@timwallace57863 жыл бұрын
@@aurasensor Grounding can easily be done walking barefoot on the ground. Not decking or concrete. Dirt ,sand ,clay ,whatever as long as it is earth grounding. If you live near the ocean or a body of water then walk the waters edge. Give it a try. Supposed to help with inflammation.
@idkwntc43022 жыл бұрын
As a Muslim, I pray five times a day, stand barefoot, and put my forehead, palms, knees and toes on the ground ATLEAST 48 times a day, from pre-dawn to night, if I want, I can do as much more as I wish. Besides being spiritually rewarding and satisfying, it is extremely beneficial for the body too. It is amazing how science and research is proving our beliefs to be in perfect harmony with nature. Not to mention fasting atleast a month every year plus two voluntary fasts every week and three every month. Keeps your mind, body and soul on track, and science is proving it all 😌

Just practice grounding or earthing. That practice matches negative ions from the earth with the unmatched positive ions in your body.

Hello Dr.Berg. I was surprised by topic_content about glutathione tablets in website. "Taking glutathione supplements in pill form does not typically increase glutathione levels because the benefits of glutathione are lost after ingestion as the pill is digested and does not normally reach cellular levels. Some doctors recommend taking it intravenously to help the digestive process is no longer a problem." What could you say about that?
@Monno15 Жыл бұрын
Take NAC (n-acetylcystein in my language atleast) instead, its the precursor that tells your body to produce glutathione, taking it in its pure form is a waste, costs alot and possibly even toxic. NAC though is really great for raising your levels of glutathione in your body. And quite inexpensive :)

Can you advise on how much of these vegetables and fruits to consume? How many servings is adequate? Maybe advise on a menu plan that will give us the amounts we need and we can incorporate them into our meals? Thank you.

My wife and I follow Dr. Berg's suggestions and have done very well. She's feeling better despite being very ill from heavy metal toxicity and we've both lost weight. I have 2 question2, though... So, we shouldn't take synthetic antioxidants, Glutathione is an antioxidant and our cells make it, and cruciferous veggies help, but, what is the Best way to help our cells make it, and, how much do we need? Is it just an antioxidant, or is there more to it?

@Dr. Eric Berg DC I know of synthetic antioxidants, such as dl-alpha-tocopherol, as opposed to d-alpha-tocopherol. But as it pertains to other antioxidants such as free form amino acids like NAC, L-glutathione, etc, can you cite some examples of "synthetic" and how that differs from lab "synthesized", which most of these supplements now are for mass production? Thank you.

Yes, and ascorbic acid is synthetic vitamin C, isn't it? So does it become free radicals? I've taken it for at least 40 years, up to 3 or 4 grams when sick. I would like to know about that one as well as the E.
@paramj42872 жыл бұрын
@@donnagarner6007 Ascorbic acid is part of Vitamin C. Real vitamin C comes from plant sources. Too much ascorbic acid generates free radicals. There are synthetic vitamin A and E. and some man made which usually find their way in soaps, shampoos, conditioners and skin creams, lotions. Synthetic antioxidants would include BHA, BHT and TBHQ which are food additives. There may be more but those are the most widely used.
