Serious topic here, Shane. I started MMA a little over a year ago, and I turned 16 in August. I hope in 10 years I'll still be as obsessed in Martial Arts and fight science as you are. The problem is, I fear I will have no time to train in the future because I'll have a job and AP classes to work on. College might also slow me down on training. I just recently figured out this is my passion and I don't want it to end quickly. I have no fucking clue what to do.

@@golf100 just saw this! I ran into an extremely similar problem that I foresaw. I am still in love with MMA, and I still watch UFC and other organizations religiously. I am 24 now, but college and work forced the time that I had for training out, however I still lift and do cardio (including hitting a bag) almost daily, im about 70lbs heavier of mostly muscle since I typed this as a kid. I have thought about getting back into it and training 2-3 times a week, but now I have to really cut my time up to include lifting, work, commuting, training, and the extra laundry lol. It is likely that I may pick it back up sometime this year if I can figure out a schedule. I’d like to compete to put my skills to the test, so we’ll see. I’ll come back and update once im able to make a clear and final decision, but overall I have not lost the passion or love that I have for MMA, I have simply just stopped developing the skill.

Here's a tip to make your reaction time seem faster in a fight; when they are about to throw a punch at you look at the side of their body that moves closest to you, that will be the side the punch is coming from. There you go, look out for that and you will know where the punch will come from before it even comes

@matthewbetourney14766 жыл бұрын
@@tigerbend1964 You may have spelled "none" wrong, but still, you are 100% CORRECT. Combos only work if the person is dumb enough to stand in one spot... you can EASILY back away from all of that shit storm of punches he starts throwing. Also, most of his punches had SHIT for range... it was all close up, in your face shit, for the most part, with the exception of the jabs, which were only going to about mid range (not full extension jabs by the looks.) Also, as he mentioned in the video, you can't just sit there and throw punches like that in a real spar session... because you also have punches coming back at you too. But with all of that being said, I know the author of the video already knows all of this. And the whole point of it was to just help reduce your reaction time. Better than nothing (but obviously sparring is way better, as he ALSO mentioned.) Lastly, but of that shit you would have parry with your gloves (assuming you didn't move back and or out of the way for it all, as soon as the shit started flying.) Slipping rapid, fast punches like that is VERY hard... but again, that was all close range, in your face shit... which is VERY hard to slip or duck... I think slipping & ducking is more for the shit that is thrown from an opponent that is using more range, rather than in your face shit.
@BrandonAB648 жыл бұрын

"www.governing.com/gov-data/state-marijuana-laws-map-medical-recreational.html" So, if he lives in any of these 26 state that have med it medicinal/ recreational, he's not breaking any laws at all, and just using another type/ alternative form of medicine, which it has always been imo, a medicine, instead of eating different pills all day long and killing yourself slowly from the inside out, and pills are a lot more harmful for you and your body than you think, those pill comes with a whole set of novel of side effects and warnings for a reason, but Cannabis (Cannabis, just makes you hungry, happy, sleepy, some ppl may feel a bit paranoid but that will subdue and later will give in to the warm feeling of the high and you'll laugh it of, and with Cannabis you will laugh a whole lot and the next morning you will have a set of six pack abs from all that laughing, sry got side tracked, now remember, he is a fighter and fighters get crackling and very aching joints and bones and muscles that comes prior from fighting for years and years, even if you got good wrapping on your hands and some good gloves, over time eventually you will get it, also how serious level of pain are depending on what type of level you fight on and on how good bones you have, structure, genetics etc, so ya, the more you know i guess.

Throw a long rear straight punch to the body when at long range -- let him run into it, as you slip your head offline. Shell up and counter with a lead hook in between his punches. Force your eyes to stay open, chin tucked, and be accurate with your counter hook. Tie his arms up and clinch with him to stop him from punching. Let him tire himself out, then pick him apart once he's exhausted.

Shane could you make another one like this? Like video #2 and #3 with different combinations. I enjoyed it very much but i unconciously starts to memorize it instead of reacting to it. Wouldve been awesome if we can have another videos to mix it up. Awesome channel btw!
