How's the fuel vent mod still working out? We are at Amp and when the level gets lower it will spatter out the vent some.

It's working great. If it's splashing you can try routing the hose differently with a loop or add a piece of tape after filling, since the factory vent is sufficient when not filling, then yank the tape off when you fill for fast filling.

We did the tape trick today. See how it goes. Out stock vent is gone so we rigged one up but didn't have it routed with a pea trap scenario. Did that as well.

Hey Roy I would turn the vent away from the rear lexan window because the vapor may cause a discoloration in the lexan

With that part the oem gas tank cover no longer fits. What are you doing to cover it? Isn’t that a champ car rule?

@@tvhess I made a little bump out on the panel using an upside down tin dog bowl. It was easy, light, and looks ok

And how did you get the hose out to the back. I bought it bc your video. Super easy to install but then trying to figure out how to cover it back up is a little harder.

​. Yeah, let me see what I can do. Mine is a little different because I have a different shield over the back not just the OEM one.

I am not sure how to post a photo here but my setup is different because I have a panel over the OE panels, however, you should be able to slit the membrane with the filler tube and route the hose though there to get into the trunk.

@isaacspiess727 the added vent is a rollover vent, the other is the stock vent which has a fluid check valve.

Yes, for Champcar. Its just modifying the screw on vent, which has been allowed in all cases as far as I know.
