These drills work on the fast twitch muscles which are a huge part when it comes to jumping hight. There are 3 parts to the equation... Height, Speed, and Strength. All drills play a part.

Typically your body carries both. Some more then others. It all depends on how you work them. Most Sprinters, Jumpers, Football players focus on Fast Twitch for speed and so on. Distance runners, Rowers, Cyclist, etc... they use more slow twitch which is for endurance.

Yes, single leg jumps helps with fast twitch but also the hip flexors. But definitely recover.

If you practice explosive sports (like sprinting) you'll use your fast twitch fibres in the muscles and automaticly train those more.

It is possible to do.. If you chose to, do this combination only twice a week. Allow the body time to recover.

Great video..... question I have had for sometime and maybe you have perspective. Can a man get as strong with doing only body weight workouts as with hitting the free weights? As example it was mentioned to me that if I did say 5 sets of 30 body weight squats that it would be the same in strength building as if I did 5 sets of 5 with 300lbs on the bar & squat rack..........I am though very interested in being explosive because I currently race BMX...... your thoughts please, thanks.....

so does single leg box jumps help with the twitch muscle also but i will put this in my rotation for twice a week cause i need recovery time cause im currently running track at the moment

one legged squats ??? can you do one from a sitting on the ground pos. one leg straight out another tucked up against your butt and go up and back down a few times

Its still astonish me just how lots of people don't know about Nobolaron Manual (look on google search engine) although a lot of people can jump higher and dunk in basketball using it. Thanks to my personal friend who told me about it. I have increase my vertical jump.
