Sup gunner. Love me a gsp. Thanks for the video. I got a hatchrite incubation kit to try and was highly suspect of the already moist enough advertising. I called bs and misted it. Watched this video and felt very educated afterwards. Much appreciated

Do you have to spray the substrate while it's in the incubator if it dries out?

Hi great video it definitely helped me a lot because I'm doing lots of research so when my crested gecko is ready to bread I'll no what to do but i have one thing to ask would I need to spray the eggs every few days or dose the humidity stay when you mix water in with the hatch rite
@TheRiseRanch3 жыл бұрын
Once you mix it properly the humidity should stay the same throughout incubation! You do not have to keep spraying. To much humidity can cause mold to grow on the eggs or can cause low hatch rates!

How many times do you mist it? And you just give it one spray or couple sprays when you do mist it?
@TheRiseRanch3 жыл бұрын
You only spray the perlite, the one time before placing the eggs in the container. And you spray it based on the amount of water you want to add to based on weight to make the perlite water ratio correct. 1part perlite to 0.8 parts water. Then its ready for the incubator.

Why are the eggs in that peet mulch stuff in the beginning?

How often do you spray substrate,or not at all
@TheRiseRanch3 жыл бұрын
For egg containers for incubation, Just the one time like instructed in the video. Then you should be alright for the rest of the incubation period if you did it correctly.

I have a baby crested geckos that's 2 months old and it's 4 grams is that a decent size for a crested gecko that's 2 months old
@TheRiseRanch3 жыл бұрын
Yes that's a normal size just keep looking for poop and as long as you see that it should be growing nicely ;)

Yeah, the market has dropped quite a bit on those guys, they live a long time and there was a huge boom of them for awhile, but now they have died down in popularity (probably a good thing). I have a pair that I could mate right now actually, I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I just acquired some new exotic animals I am going to be posting in the very near future. Thanks for the support!
