How long after laying does it show up with the cheerio as you call it... this is my girls' second clutch. First was only 1 deformed egg I candled, but it looks like a dud... and I'm pretty sure she laid them two days ago

I have always seen the cheerio right away. I check the lay boxes every day, and when I collect the eggs, I candle them right away and the embryo is already attached.
