How To Insert SIM Card and SD Card In Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, S9+ and S9 Ultra

I made the same mistake. The S9 Ultra does not have SIM capability. The S9 and S9+ are the only tablets that support a SIM card. I have no idea why Samsung would do this but I'm a little angry about it myself.

I'll leave my experience in case it was useful. The eSim card is only available on Samsung tablets for the EUROPE market, if you are from the US, Mexico or other South American countries then your tablet only allows you to place the SD card to expand the storage, but if you want to use your tablet with an eSIM on your tablet and use it as if it were a cell phone then it will not be able unless you buy it in EUROPE
