How to insert the flat spring into your BERNINA bobbin case. Model 830/820, 640, 200, 730, 180, 1630

If you own a BERNINA 9mm machine like: A model 1630,180, 200/730, 640, 580 or a 830/820 machine, the bobbin case has a little flat spring at the bottom of the case where you insert your bobbin. Sometimes this spring comes out during cleaning or when a thread gets caught. This video will explain to you why we have this spring in there in the first place and how to replace the spring if it came out.

Oh so glad I found you. The back lash spring just popped out of my 880 while I was cleaning it with the Bernina brush. I put it back in but after watching this video discovered I have it in wrong. Now I just have to figure out how to the get the spring out again to correct it. Many thanks 🥰

Well if your bobbin case fell out...your dealer has to insert this back into the machine!
