I bought the diode dynamic tail as turn light for a 2018 subaru Forester. Now I want to replace the reverse light and old turn signal light. Am I able to buy the part separately? What are the part number for the led bulb?

I've got the kit on order for my '18 XT and will be replacing the turn signal and backup bulbs with your LED's. Do I need to buy the special turn signal relay?

You shouldn't have to, however if you do experience hyperflash, you will need to order one of those as well!

Does anyone know what the bulb size is for the brake light that is being changed to the turn signal? Does diode sell that light also for direct replacement? And how does the brake lights work now? Does it just use the other light to notify others for when brakes are applied?

Hi there! We do offer bulb replacements for both the old turn signal location and existing backup location. You can see them both in the listing we've placed below. The brake lights will still function the same- it just turns the brakes into a blinker when the signal is turned on. Kind of confused. How does installing this make your existing red brake light turn into an orange turn signal? The 'C' light is currently the marker (parking) light and the inside of the 'C' is currently the red brake light. You are showing it as orange after the install. Please explain? Does the C light also become the brake light? You don't show/explain any details of the brake light in the video, just the turn signal being moved. Thanks!

@@diodedynamics a few wire changes and diodes to valve off some voltage. Nice. I did something similar to my old Volvo. It has rear fog lights, with two diodes, my dog lights work as additional brake lights without hindering it's original flight function

Hey Harold! This kit actually makes your factory brake lights function as new turn signals. We give you the option to replace the old turn signal location with cool white LEDs for an additional backlight. The factory brake light is red from factory, so this new turn signal/brake will be red as well!
