Thank you for the video. I have a question (I bought an exact one from AliExpress, but it has not arrived yet): I wonder if the usb port switches off automatically when the power supply is cut? I want to use it for my car tracker, which I am going to hide somewhere inside my car, and I do not want it to be switched off when I turn my car off and not switched on automatically when I turn the car on again.

You will need to install it to a constant fuse, which does not turn off.

If you hard wired your dash cam and it's always on, doesn't that drain your battery?

It has a module to prevent that. The module is also considering the ACC wire to be connected to help with this. If you install the das cam as required you should have no problems.

ok I have a question lets say I found a empty fuse on my fuse box do I use it with one fuse or do I need two one for my cam and one for the empty slot in the fuse box on my add a fuse ?

What do you mean you connected it the red to the red of your hardwire kit?

The wire was not long enough to reach the fuse box. I added additional wire to reach the fuse box. Time stamp 6:26. I also added the material I used in the description.

I got the same one ..after using the switch on it about 3 times it will not come back on unless I disconnect the 12v to it and reconnect...., did u have similar problems? Ta

No, make sure the ground is secure.

thats a horrible location bro u should have installed in above on the right side of the control that way a passengers knees dont hit it when wires are plugged into it plus the control panel would look upgraded

No room in the control panel and no complaints on the location. I did install one on the center console in my Tundra truck which gave the idea for my vehicle.

I’m guessing you don’t know how to bypass the power button even though is wired to accessories when you turn the car on it comes on but instead you have to push the button every time you start the car.. how annoying is that

No where do I mention this process takes 20 min. I do a lot of research before I even film the video. Then I try to figure what is best way to install the device. I do this to help views with their installations.
