Just received mine yesterday and installed it within an hour. Sound and connectivity is amazing !!! I followed the step by step instruction except that instead of the board just free floating inside, I used the same pegs from where the original board was attached and hot glue the new board to the same pegs. Now it's stable and looks original as if it came from BOSE's factory.Thanks a lot for a great product, and it's really worth the cost and the wait ( 6 days ) I'm in Cali.

I just installed my white panel version on my series 1 sound dock. I received it in just over a week from the UK to Florida. The quality is top tier and you can tell this inventor is serious about his baby! It paired with my smart tv literally in seconds and the installation video is just as well made as the device. I'm going hunting for sound docks on ebay and buying as many of these as they'll sell me. This company is 5 stars on all fronts!

Fair to say this is an epic upgrade. It's given my Bose SoundDock a new lease of life :) I was just enjoying the bass, when I realised that I hadn't hit the bass boost. Now it's really rocking :D Great idea, great implementation.

Hello, this video is very informative but hey for those who still use iPods it's a bit of a loss of the connector. I would have liked to have had an upgrade with an addition of Bluetooth while keeping the 30 pin connector lol after that we didn't have the link to buy the Bluetooth adapter that you present... It's a shame and we would have liked to have a test of this fantastic Bose speaker lol thank you for this very informative video Bonjour très instructif cette vidéo mais bon pour ceux qui utilisent encore des ipods c'est un peu la perte du connecteur moi j'aurais bien voulu avoir un upgrade avec un ajout de Bluetooth en gardant le connecteur 30 pins lol après on a pas eu le lien pour acheter l'adaptateur Bluetooth que vous présentez ... Arrived yesterday. I scheduled some time to install today. FInished in under an hour. Ribbon cable was a bit of a pain but managed to get it inserted properly. My cheap Android phone paired immediately. I have DEFINITELY missed the rich and deep sound of this Bose. It brought memories back hearing music playing through it again! Thank you for a wonderful product! Question: When pairing it asks to allow contacts/calls. Why does it do this?

That is problem with the Bluetooth implementation on your device. The BC20 reports the relevant profiles during pairing so the phone should take note of the capabilities and not ask irrelevant questions..

I've just picked up a brand new old stock original sounddock, all boxed with everything still in packets. I haven't tested it yet because i dont have an ipod. I've ordered one of the cheap ebay bluetooth modules, but I've just watched this and I'm very interested. I don't live very far from Reading. Would i be able to pop in and pick one of these up if you still make them? I have plugged mine in but theres no indication of it being powered up without an ipod in the dock. Is it supposed to beep or anything when powered up, or is there any other way to tell if its on without an ipod? ...great product, by the way and a great instructional video. I'm sold!

I have just fitted this, wonderful on bluetooth and 3.5 jack. However I still haven't got the nfc on my Huwawei to work yet. Also, I assume the usb is for charging only as it doesn't play music memory sticks or iPods. It would be helpful if you sent a users manual with the unit. Not sure about the bass boost control, will keep trying. INSTRUCTIONS please. Just basic ones.

@@xenonram Yes, I did get a reply from him directly from the small amount of info with the paper sheet included, and got the gadget working, it's great! However I am not happy about the lack of instructions and I still don't know if the usb should play sticks or not. I suspect the maker is a talented amateur rather than a businessman and I don't know if he is still making them.

No, currently we just manufacture the SD20 which has the same Bluetooth but no NFC and the 30-pin docking connector is retained.

those bluetooth adaptors are not compátible with dock 1, because it cant charge iphone and some new ipods,only those old ipods.i think it uses the fierewire charging of the 30 pin connectors,so dumb..
