That grease fitting isn't for the steering arm it's for the tilt and trim.

A gun barrel cleaning brush works great cleaning the steering tube.

What kind of top end do you get with that motor I’m rocking a 115 merc thinking about dropping a 250on her

Hey Man I feel like its pretty straight forward but what did you use to snake new line? My biggest fear is messing that part up.

He showed you... That electrical cable. But you can use anything... Paracord, nylon twine, old electric wire, whatever. Just tie (or tape it) it to the end of the old steering cable before you pull it out, then as you pull out the steering cable whatever you used for fish tape will be pulled along the same path

@@AB-nb2ic I mean I hear that but steering cable is stiff so I didn’t think tying up another cord with it would be possible if you have to go through small holes. Tape in theory sounds solid but am nervous about the tape ripping off if I have to pull hard.

Make sure when you grease it that the rod is all the way in and not extended like that!

You did everything off camera and then explained what you did later. Not very helpful.

You don't show how to insure the steering wheel stays properly oriented Lol. Main reason I watched it. My luck.

Straighten the wheel before you tighten the retaining nut. Then tighten it.
