What was the fuse location that he put it in? All I heard was ignition Driving a DCT so I know it may be a little different

Best thing to do if your unsure if the ignition is different on your dct is go to harbor freight and buy a circuit tester. They are fairly cheap and will help you see which fuses are on or off.

I’m trying to find a grounding point for my installation. Currently own the HEV version, where did you ground yours?

There is a spot near the hood latch with a threaded hole. I showed the spot in the video.

Can you show me how to remove that A trim plastic next to the windshield?

Remove the weather trim in the door jam. It’ll give you an area to be able to pull on the a pillar and start removing it. There is a clip that’s hard to remove that some people break but It can be done.

What size bolt did you use for grounding above the trunk latch? I got the Veloster N and I got the same 2 chassis bolt holes above the trunk latch, would like to replicate for my blackvue power magic pro. Thanks!

It was a spare bolt I had laying around from misc parts taken off the car. It’s the same thread pitch as the bolts holding in the plastic surround around the ic and a lot of other misc areas throughout the car. I will find another spare when I get home and try to find size and thread pitch.

We have a harness bar that we have belts attached too just for car shows. We don’t drive around with them on.

I noticed the fuse you tapped doesn’t work when the car is off, wouldn’t that remove the point of the “parking” function of the dash cam? My main concern is my EN got scraped on my rear bumper while parked. I want eyes on my car without me being there. Would 20 amps constant drain a drastic amount of power off the battery?

If you have it consistently running off a fuse that doesn’t shut off when the car is off then yes it absolutely will. In the video you see that we installed an external battery that holds around 48 hr charge. It’ll record while the car is off, off the power of the external battery. Everytime we drove it recharges the external battery.

No issues at all! It’s saved us in a recent accident we had where someone hit the Nlantra in a parking lot.

@@KDMStation when ordering there were 3 options on the bottom. Parking mode add on, LTE connectivity, tamper proof case

@@CN7_IN_NY gotcha, we received the parking mode add on, which is the B-130x Battery Pack. The lte module allows you to get a SIM card through your wireless carrier and uses the lte module as a hotspot so you can have even more access to viewing video rather than relying on Bluetooth. And we didn’t order the protective case.

Yes it does. The side airbag is located further in the a pillar. The wires aren’t interfering in any way with it.
