I was cringing at all the contractors destroying the cabinet. At least use a razor knife and some tape to prevent the splintering and chipping of the laminate. Most customers would have complained about this.

We just have our kitchen tv on the countertop via it's built-in stand, sitting on a low profile lazy susan, and use a Roku instead of a bulky cable box, connected to the tv with just a single HDMI cable. No need to add an outlet, reroute cables, buy and install a repeater, and destroy cabinets.

While he did lose some cabinet space, he got a larger, modern television with more mobility, and overall it looks nice and neat and not a collection of electronics gathering dust.

When was this filmed 15 years ago everything seems prehistoric plus Very bad install on electrical boxes should have used an oscillating tool and scored around the marked pencil lines with a razor knife wow he would not come back to my house
