I exclusively use LidLox. It like an inconspicuous part of the bike, when not in use. My helmets swear by it.

Wouldn't work so well with the big police mirrors I have. I usually put my helmet over my hand controls or lay it on the pillion. Never had an issue. I wonder if I could utilize that with the helmet over the controls, hmmmmm. Don't know if it would work with the Ruroc either. May need a ruling form the peanut gallery.
@VVoltz3 жыл бұрын
Jay, is not ideal but if you put it at the bottom, you can leave it hanging too. However, if you have a Filock system, which is what most Rurocs do, this won't work without the adapter

That’s a great question. I haven’t taken a close look at the control housings on the 24’s. But you can put the Lidlox on any number of locations. Basically anywhere you can replace that size bolt with the Lidlox. Check their web site lidlox.com. They even have a version for a license plate location.

Just installed mine. The locking pin is leaving a large enough gap that it slides right out. I have a 2 piece set, and the second one is doing the same. There's absolutely no more length. Is it possible, I have a dud set?

Hey Tanya. That's really weird! I just installed one on my new bike and didn't have an issue. Just put some threadlocker on that puppy and screwed it right in. Did you buy it from Amazon so you can just return it then get a new set?

Thinking of getting my first full face and was wondering what people do with them at stops. This looks like a good solution. I may go with a cable gun lock though, and leave the helmet on my pillion.

It's a good solution for sure. The only challenge that I had was with my Arai. VVoltz had the same issue with his Arai helmet. The strap is just a little short so you have to put a little effort into getting it positioned in the lock.

Can the Lidlox helmet lock be used on a Vstar 650 classic ?
@chrisL497 Жыл бұрын
Just use a bike cable lock run it through your risers. A lot more simpler and don’t need to have that extension always with you.

Thanks for the cool video Percy! I'm definitely gonna look.into that! I have the same Cardo for my helmet. Do you have any issues with voice commands? Thanks.
@withPercy3 жыл бұрын
Hey Mike! The only voice related issue that I've had with my Cardo is getting Siri to fire up and work. I've recently discovered that I can get Siri to respond sometimes if I whisper "Hey, Siri", but can't get her to respond with a normal speaking voice. Next thing you know, she'll make me take her to dinner before she responds. LOL
