im putting together a wing with a micro vector. i have everything wired exactly like you have. im confused about the RX and FC power though...shouldn't you remove the 5v wire coming from the psu to FC?? with the "power block" for servos and external bec doesn't the RX and FC get power there? Thanks!

You must not use the 5v from the PSU to power your servo as state in the manual. Because PSU power can shut up due to excessive power draw. p19 of the manual. better use a Bec/ubed

Do you still sell the mini bundle? What actually comes with bundle? I’ve seen your link to where to purchase but the description is vague on what you are actually getting for $194. I’ve heard you can use a Matek PDB instead of psu is this correct and why couldn’t one use any gps like BN-880 or M8?? Thanks.

Simon B. No my servos are powered by the bec built into the ESC. it's getting the power through the power block I made on the output side.

Great Vid. I am just about to build a fohdy with the same setup, great timing! One question, in the manual it also says not to hook a power source to more than one of the 5v connections. I am not really good at wiring, but wouldn't the 5v from the PSU and the 5v from the BEC to the power block to the output side of the micro vector be just that? I am probably missing something and I think I may be afraid of the red text in the manual or confused or both.

Simon B. All good questions here that I didn't get from the video. My question, How are you powering the rx? Your feeding the vector with 5v I see that, are you then powering the rx with that 5v through the 5v rx port?

Simon B. when you plug your ESC with a bec into the servo port it flows power back into the rx port. so if you follow the build when you apply power to the esc it powers the rx side through the vector.

Prop on for power up? Some basic common sense not being used.....and more importantly not being taught.
